Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.

We have 6 acres located in Ocklawaha, the Ocala National Forest, we have full hook up. We have a pond with 8 Peking ducks who own the pond (ha ha) they are fun to watch as you set in the swing underneath the oak tree. We also have 6 Redfoot tortoises, the Sandhill cranes visit every day and we have had up to 15 at once, they do their mating dance which is quite comical and keep us entertained. We have wild turkeys that pass through daily (normally) , deer, foxes and other animals as well. This is a safe haven for the animals and they somehow know it’s safe here. We have never seen a bear on our property but the neighbors have had some visits from them. One of the entrances to the forest is just around the corner with many trails to take in your 4 WD’s & side x sides. We have lakes all around us and we are not too far from the famous Lake Weir and Gator Joes restaurant. Silver Springs is approximately 12 miles away. The Ma Barker tours are always a favorite as well. We are a private, secure, fenced and gated property. We have a remote for the gate that we will provide you on arrival. We live on property and are around most of the time. Owners live on the premises and are present most of the time, we are outdoors a lot but we do not interfere with you and your camping experience.

Redfoot Ranch Site 2

We loved our 3-night stay at Redfoot Ranch. Mark and his wife, Sherri, are very welcoming and hospitable. They met us at the gated entrance when we got there and escorted us to our private, full hook-up site. A haven for all kinds of wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the Sandhill cranes, ducks, squirrels, deer, birds, and turtles. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet. We brought our trailer with our Polaris and rode out to the Ocala National Forest for hours every day right from their property! It was perfect for us. We felt so safe, as the property is fenced in with a gated entrance, and didn’t even need to lock the RV door when we left! Looking forward to our next visit!
