This location is absolutely perfect to see all the beautiful springs in the area. Paula is a great host and gave us excellent advice on places to go. She was even nice enough to give us a ride up the river so we could kayak down to our car.
The campsite has everything you need if you are a true camper. The space is limited and you are setting up on gravel so prepare for this if setting a. Tent. The space is still private and lush with beautiful tropical trees and foliage.
We would definitely go back if in the area.

Very tidy and accommodating, with scenic foliage and secluded fire area. The host was understanding, helpful and prompt. Great close by natural features and shopping. Would recommend for your next adventure to through the area!

I’m new to all of this, so I will chalk this as me being ignorant. But I wasn’t expecting the location to be so open to a local neighborhood, the pictures didn’t show the back where you can see 3 other houses within an acre and in plane site (no covering). For the same price, making a reservation at the Rainbow Springs RV Camepground, we were fortunate to book a spot last minute. I understood that this was a private location (not commercial) , but I assumed the location would have more privacy like the pictures suggested. All that being said, The host is nice and easy to communicate. We didn’t stay, don’t expect a refund, and will just stick to commercial campgrounds from here on out.

The Rainbow River and Swampys are great local spots. We had a great day trip to Three Sisters Springs and Weeki Wachi.

We enjoyed our short time visiting Ps property. It was perfect for our needs while visiting rainbow springs state park. Owner was great with communication before and during our stay. He has provided lots of “amenities” to make it a comfortable stay. If you need a quick place to pitch your tent or park a small camper this place is perfect. We enjoyed a lovely day on the beautiful rainbow river. If considering booking this site… I suggest you do!! Thank you again for a great stay.

Paula is sweet and supportive. My friend and I felt safe and comfortable. There are many springs close by and we can't wait to camp there again so we can explore more springs in Dunnellon!

This place was great! We will definitely keep this on our radar for any upcoming trips to the area. Which we often take! Had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning up. The shower and toilet are great to have right there as needed!

Ms. P was wonderful, very informative of the area and texted me several times to let me know about fun spots and things going on around town. The spot itself is private and well maintained. The fire pit is awesome and Ms. P gave us enough wood for several campfires. You’re also very close to restaurants, bars, springs and stores. Overall an awesome experience and will likely visit again. Thank you ma’am!

This place is a gem! Super cute, private and has a really nice fire pit set up. The owner, P, is very helpful and communicative. Sad we couldn’t meet her as she was out of town. She has everything set up for a great time in the area and a ton of recommendations. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Conveniently located for many activities. The host was willing and ready to offer advice and encouragement to enjoy the area. Arriving self contained makes for a more comfortable stay. Come enjoy Rainbow Springs.

Very convenient to Rainbow River and Rainbow Springs State Park. Great for 20' or less RV's. A little difficult backing in at night. Would be easier if the palm tree out front was removed (may not be allowed due to local tree removal regulations however), but still very doable. Very nice and welcoming host. Had a small fire going for us upon our arrival. Some well thought out amenities.

Nice quiet spot close to rainbow river. Outdoor shower and sink for dishes. Gravel camp surface so be prepared for that if tent camping.

What a great little campsite. Paula was a thorough and friendly host. Her place had all you need to have a great experience in a fun little town. From springs to rivers to shopping and entertaining. Loved it and will be back.

Rainbow River "Peek" Tent/Van Site
This was a great spot super close to Rainbow River! Paula was a lovely host and even helped us leave a car at the bottom of the river so we could paddle all day. The site is level and has sewer/fresh water/30 amp hookup. We have a 19 foot teardrop and fit in the space nicely! I would highly recommend a stay here :)

Such a fantastic spot! You won't be disappointed! Paula went above and beyond and is such a fantastic host. Located in a perfect spot with surrounded by everything you could ever need. We spent some time on rainbow river and silver springs. Great little town can't wait to go back!
