Waterfront Tiny Cottage This cute little cottage is the perfect getaway for couples who love the Florida outdoors. Called Dragonfly Cottage, it is located just off the Suwannee River in Fanning Springs, Florida. Fronting Little Bell Spring, one of the county’s 63 beautiful springs, it is the ideal spot for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. This area is known as Florida’s Nature Coast, with an impressive network of bicycle trails nearby, as well as quaint Gulf Coast communities like Steinhatchee, Suwannee, and Cedar Key. Enjoy 1 acre of spring-front property with majestic live oak trees, a canoe, two kayaks, a dock, and a fire pit. The cottage itself is a tiny 256 sq. ft. under-air space, but it includes big amenities like a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, a cozy electric fireplace, and a full indoor bathroom with a corner shower. The kitchen area has been newly remodeled and updated, including a kitchen island with seating for two and everything you need to cook. There is an efficiency-size refrigerator, microwave, two-burner hotplate, electric skillet, griddle, crock pot, blender, and multifunction toaster oven. Outside, there is a private outdoor shower stall for showering or rinsing off after a long day of outdoor activities.
