Great place on a budget

For the price ($15 per night) it was great. It is next to a busy street but has a wood privacy fence on all sides except the entrance gate which you manually open and close. If you have a small dog, then you might want to take the extra boards lying next to the entrance to block the gap at the bottom of the entrance gate so your pooch doesn’t get out. There is electric, water and sewer but you will need 2 people for the sewer- one to hold the line to the drain and another to work the valves. There’s a wonderful swing and a fire pit to warm up to on those cooler nights. Be sure you have RV levelers as the ground isn’t level but most of it has asphalt under the sand so you don’t get stuck. It’s only about 20 minutes from Bucaneer Bay waterpark and the weeki watchi state park with the live mermaid show and river kayaking. And tons of places to eat at. The host, Amanda, is extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this location especially if you’re on a budget.

We had a lot of issues with our stay.
Electrical issues right off of the bat, it got half resulted. Ended up being plugged into a 12 volt outlet from the property next door, which wasn't enough power for my trailer. I was able to power my fridge, plugs, and AC. However, I had to have my AC off almost all day in order for it to stay on at night. I never got a reply about the electrician that was supposed to come by to fix the problem.
The site itself needs to be cleaned up, broken shards of glass, a random yellow pill with an unknown substance was was found, and the fence has some holes on the side of the road. I wouldn't recommend allowing your animals to roam freely here, besides the road. There is some low hanging barbed wire on the outside of the fence.
Wouldn't recommend this site, unless everything is cleaned up and fixed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The manager of the property was very nice and quick to respond.
POSITIVE:
- Great location. We were close to many things to do and see. Very convenient to any shopping and restaurant options you enjoy.
- It was wonderful to allow our 2 dogs freedom to roam the campsite!
- the Campsite is large and it was nice not to have a private gated and lockable site.
NEGATIVE:
- I had a hard time finding the location. It is well hidden on a busy highway.
- I had to back into this site from a main thoroughfare where the speed limit was 55 Mph. I have a 40' camper. This was not an easy task and we had to stop traffic to get it done. Thankfully we were able to manage it enough to get off the road in 2 tries but it was still many ups and backs to get situated on the lot.
- NOISE was terrible when sitting outside. This highway is very busy most of the waking hours.
- The gate requires 2 people to operate because the fencing is falling on it and the boards for the rollers to slide on are not wide enough.
-The fence is in disrepair in multiple places and needs replaced. Holes were a concern so we could not leave our dogs out when we left the property.
- LOTS of small trash around and we constantly picked up glass fragments.
- Fire-pit unsuable. Rusted thru.
-Wifi did not work for us. Our devices rarely could find it.
- Lots of potential but the site has an overall neglected feel.

It was a private lot to its self with privacy fence. Would have been better if we had an adapter to plug a regular house plug into the rv plug. Overall it was a decent last minute stay.

The price and close proximity to Weeki Wachee is unbeatable! RV parks nearby were fully booked and running $100+/day. The springs were amazing and I highly recommended visiting them. Amanda was very friendly and communicated well. Nice, private fenced-in yard was great to let my dog run around in. A little tight getting through the gate but fine once you’re in.
