We had such an amazing time! The property is so beautiful and the hosts were so friendly. We felt right at home. I’m a female traveler and although I was camping with my partner I would have felt safe and comfortable being alone as well. The directions were clear and we could even buy eggs for breakfast! We took a day trip to the beach (30mn away) and it was just perfect. Thank you!
Such a cool campsite! It was peaceful and quiet and the camp hosts were super nice. Highly recommend. One note: potable water on site has sulfur in it, be sure to bring your own.
I had a great experience with the host, who was kind and took the time to show me where I could set up my tent on the site, even in the dark. It was lovely to see the farm animals and the beautiful red barn during my short morning visit. The price was reasonable, and best of all, there were no alligators!
I was extremely late leaving my home city to head to their farm due to unforeseen circumstances and it pushed my arrival time to just about nightfall. I was in contact with Len several times on the way updating him on my circumstances and he was very kind to allow me to still meet up with him and receive me into the camp. He was extremely friendly and let me choose where I wanted to setup in the camping area as there was only one other camper there when I arrived. He pointed out the restroom, charging station and the potable water areas. I was doing some "car" camping. It has animals on the farm and plenty of visually wide open spaces. The first twenty four hours was mostly filled with substantial downpours and made enjoying the outdoors less pleasing. However, I made the most of it and was able to cook out several meals between rain showers and then setup a rain shelter with tarp to enjoy myself whether or not it continued to rain. There were firepits to use and some scraps of wood. But to really enjoy the firepit you will need to bring a supply of wood. There was some muffled noise from traffic in the distance from time to time, but nothing intrusive. One thing to note is that at times thoughout the visit there were many rounds being fired that could be heard from local hunting areas or an outdoor shooting range. Did not bother me as I am used to those sounds + did not occur during sleeping hours. Animals made some noises but nothing too loud or disturbing. Good location.
