🌲 Hi! This is a budget friendly home base in the Ocala National Forest, hundreds of acres on one side, civilization on the other! 🌲 At a tucked away sandy little corner of an odd rural community, (The map shows the road continuing, but it does not.) the way back here and the property is narrow, so only small campers will work. Summertime, you’ll want to set up under the shade trees. bordering the Ocala National Forest. You will be beside or around the home, with 1 foot in the forest. You’ll have a water hose, electric cord and Wi-Fi. 30 amp adapters can be used Settle in and do your thing. Chairs and tables are there to move around as you like. Relax, hang a hammock, make a fire, make your plans.. The tunnel tent is water resistant, not water proof. Lots of butterflies, Humming birds, cardinals, woodpeckers and Owles are here in force! Hot water shower is off for the summer! It's really peaceful, no traffic or people running around. If you need me, just msg me. It's a short hike to 🏖️ Lake Mary beaches with crystal clear water. Dogs love visiting the lake too. Water toys up to 50 hp can be put in the lake a short drive nearby. Camp in the forest, or camp here. Silver Springs, Juniper Springs, and others are a short drive. Carney Island / Ma Barkers place,, 5 minute drive to Ducks Dam Diner near the Moss Bluff Ocklawaha River Dam and boat launch. Locals show off their Harleys and hot rods on most weekends. A biscuits and gravy kinda place! Across the road from there is nice hiking in the Ocklawaha Prairie South Trailhead. We're About an hr. from Daytona Bch. There's a page in your welcome basket with the Ranger station number and other local information. 🦝Remember be Bear Aware and don't leave food out! 🐻

Moss Bluff Ocala National Forest
Safe, quiet place, great spot to bounce around to multiple lakes or springs, kind host, fire pit, outdoor shower, covered barrel tent area in case it rains, power cord to charge your phone etc, tables/ chairs, rustic woodsy trail to the lake, or drive up the road 5mins to a State maintained dirt road to a free large swimming area. 4wheel drive recommended for driveway entering camp property. I'll mention, the very kind host, again. 🙂

Forest,lake,privacy & AMAZING host
Had a fantastic time with Kim on her property. She is amazing with hosting and has all your needs taken care of, minus toilet but that’s minuscule. She worked on my trailer hitch, 🫣 jumped my car AND tow my trailer out of a ditch. Such an amazing kind, unassuming human being. If you have some time to spend in solitude with good vibes and nature, this is your place. 😉😉

Quite camp site, warm shower
Kim was a fantastic host!! So friendly and provided us with a few drinks, plates and utensils. The area was so nice, and the site had some helpful amenities like a hot outdoor shower, running water and some little candles to light at night. We plan on coming back someday to explore more of Ocala national forest. Thanks again, Kim!!

Moss Bluff Ocala National Forest
Nice spot for tent camping
This spot exceeded our expectations. K was a great host and surprised us with a welcome basket of beverages, towels, an electric hook up, use of a grill, and A HOT OUTDOOR SHOWER. We expected only cold water so that was amazing. There was plenty of space to set up our tent, build a nice size fire, gather wood, and direct access to Ocala National Forest was only a few steps away. She was very responsive host and more than helpful.
