The property has been in my family since the early 1930s. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents, it still standing and I currently under demo once complete we are building a small cabin The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop. during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it. What is now my home was my grandparent's house. I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma. We are a WORKING FARM You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! The animals were extremely friendly and if it weren't for them I would give this a one-star review the host was not friendly at all she was explaining to me how extremely busy she was and it's like if you're so busy why would you offer these options that's neither here nor there I had sent her a email before I sent this review she could care less she gave me wood that would not burn I'm sorry I know how to burn wood I put gas on this I put fire starter on this wood I did everything in between long story short if you like animals especially farm animals she has everything from a to z and everything in between they're amazing but if you're wanting a personal touch from a human forget it

Elizabeth was a gem! So friendly n informative about all her animals on her working farm. Fresh eggs, goat milk n cheese. We enjoyed the stay. Just park n relax on the farm. Geese were entertaining n lots of stars at night.

This was our first Hipcamp stay and it was wonderful! We were the only ones there and Elizabeth was very warm and welcoming. We got to watch her milk the cows and she introduced us to all of her farm animals. There was lots to explore and my kids had a blast. Site was easy to get in and out of and we would definitely stay again. We got to visit Elizabeth’s farm store and I can’t wait to try some of the goodies we purchased. I appreciated how knowledgeable Elizabeth is and how much information she was willing to share. I took home some tips to help with hatching chicken eggs and I even told my husband that I want to be like her one day!

Cool little farm with all kinds of animals. If you aren't aware farm birds (guinea fowl, chickens and geese) do make noise so don't be surprised by that. The campsite was nice and fairly secluded in a small stand of trees. The animals were all very friendly especially the livestock guardian dogs who roamed the property all day and night. I definitely recommend sampling their dairy goods. The yogurt was so delicious. I should have bought more bc me and my daughter kept fighting for the "next bite". I didn't try the other dairy products but they had to be just as good. The only suggestion would be a pair of ear plugs if you're tent camping as the interstate is very close by and traffic noise can be heard all night. I doubt rv campers would be bothered. Regardless I highly recommend this campground.

I wanted a peaceful outdoor getaway for new years and this place was just the spot. If you’re an animal lover and love the aspects of a working farm then this is the place. We were greeted with farm dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, peacocks you name it Liz probably had it! She was a lovely host and met us and showed us to our site. We got fresh eggs, homemade jams, and our favorite the Muscadine Wine she makes in house. You could buy all your food needs at the store if you wanted. I definitely want to come back just from that aspect. We got to watch them milk the cows and pet a baby cow. It was truly just an amazing time. The farm dogs would come hang out with us and just be a great presence. The early morning time was immaculate hearing the farm come alive and seeing all the animals start their routine. We will definitely be returning to the farm as it now holds a special place in our hearts. You won’t regret this stay!

We loved camping at Moonpie Farms & Creamery! The owners/operators were kind; demonstrations were educational; and tasting samples of products produced at the farm was the best….and we loved the country/farm store and all the animals, especially Rivena (not sure if I spelled that correctly)

What a lovely farm where they take nice care of their animals. The kids enjoyed running around meeting all the animals and participating and observing while trying to respect the rules. The farm store had a nice selection of goods. The property had nice clear, clean, cut campsites. Plenty of room for our 36’. Easy to level. Advice would be to pick a shady spot, and bring extra hose. Would stay again, and hope to! Kids cried when we left.

I loved camping at Moonpie Farm and Creamery! Me and a buddy stopped by for one night while driving from Orlando to Texas, and it was precisely the fun, quirky spot we were looking for! Elizabeth is a wonderful host who graciously shared her vast knowledge about her animals. We thoroughly enjoyed watching her milk the goats and cow! The property itself is beautiful with lots of animals roaming around. The outdoor shower was a great way to start my morning after a warm, sticky night (expected in the summer in Florida). We were able to have a great campfire and appreciated a hose being hung up on the tree at our campsite. The big watchdogs were a personal favorite, as they periodically came by our campsite to make sure everything was good. For anyone looking for a fun, unique adventure on a modern homestead, I highly recommend staying here!!

This was the best experience! We stopped here last minute and we’re so glad we did! This is a full on farm! Elizabeth taught me to milk a goat and we interacted with so many different animals. Such an amazing experience! The camp site is tucked away in a beautiful wooded area with lots of privacy. We’ll definitely be returning!

Had a great time at this spot! Both a beautiful sight to walk through and so many animals to interact with. There's also fresh products made by the awesome host, and highly suggest the blueberry goat cheese! My favorite part was how protected we felt because of Ivan, the best boy ever! Can't wait to well more people about this beautiful little spot

I loved camping at Elizabeth's Farm aka Moon pie Farm. The site was awesome. Livestock was fun, it was easy to find. Our children really loved feeding the goat kids. The site was clean and spacious. The staff (pups included) were very friendly 😁. We would stay again.

We really enjoyed our tent site at Moon Pie Farms. As animal lovers, we met all kinds of animals and got the opportunity to see daily farm operations. The site itself was far enough away from the closest site that we felt as we were just out in the woods alone. Absolutely beautiful!

We tented on the property at a site directory in the middle of the farm: cows and goats and ducks and chickens and pigs and farm dogs keeping us company. It is loud! Lots of animals and lots of noise, plus it is right next to the interstate. If you want to minimize the noise, ask for a site back in the woods, or bring a camper. Lovely stay, be back soon!
