This working horse farm is such a breath of fresh air! There are so many horses there and they are so well cared for and loved! Brett stopped by as we first pulled in, gave us the overall gist of things and offered help if we needed it. We felt safe and had plenty of space to let our dogs run around. The people who board there as well as work there were so kind and welcoming that we felt like we were part of the community.We would definitely stay there again if we come back through there!

Such a fun experience-Under the Oak
We had such a great time camping on this beautiful property. Being under the canopy of Oak Trees was just magical. Seeing all the horses really added to the experience. We absolutely would camp here again.

The farm is a beautiful property with sites that put you right in the middle of the activity. You can see the horses, lessons, and day to day farm activities. The sites have water and electric. Brett and Lindsay are very friendly and willing to talk about the amazing work they do. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful quiet place to set up! The horses are out and about which makes it a beautiful scenery! We will be camping there again when visiting Tallahassee!

Peaceful beautiful land. If you love huge oaks dripping with moss, lush pastureland, horses and wildlife (saw wild turkeys on walk) this is the place. Convenient to the city and I-10 but you feel like you are way out in the country. Owners and people on the ranch were top notch.

They put a hipcamp sign out on the road. It's a very lovely large field. I needed unlevel, there was a lot of it and I wasn't looking for level spots, the field is large enough you'll find somewhere. I left around 7:00 a.m. so I wasn't there for any horse activities. I really appreciate how quickly they got back to me because they have to approve bookings. I would come back.

We loved RV’g at Mahan Farm! Just as you enter the property you can’t help but notice it’s a beautiful & peaceful setting. We had our dogs and were able to walk them leashed, and let them run off leash (with permission) further out in the fields away from the horses. There was plenty of room for our 35’ rig and parking for our tow vehicle. Hook ups are convenient & water pressure was ok (FAR, FAR better than a nearby RV park we’ve stayed at in the past). Location is convenient to Publix, Walmart, Costco, & I-10. We’ll definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend.

This was by far my favorite Hipcamp to date. Nice hosts, beautiful property. Nice road for walking the dogs. Cute horses to pet. Listened to insects all night long. Quiet and peaceful and the feeling of safe isolation, despite being somewhere pretty populated. 10/10

We stayed in our motorhome by the oaks. It was very private and quiet. Lindsay and Brett were very communicative and accommodating. Our dogs loved running in the fields. The oaks were stunning. There are gas stations, a few restaurants, and a Publix 5 minutes away, and several more stores and restaurants within 10-15 minutes. The auto museum is 5 minutes away and a must-see. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Lindsay and Brett!

Lovely property. We were greeted by wild turkeys every morning. Enjoyed watching the horses and the tranquility of the space. It was also very convenient for trips into Tallahassee.
