The Hideaway

We loved tent camping here! It’s so beautiful and the owners have done so many amazing little touches everywhere. There is a really cool outdoor shower as well as a nice indoor bathroom for campers. And anyone who’s ever tent camped knows that a bathroom like this is so important. The hosts were great. Very sweet people and very friendly and accommodating. The view from the different seating areas were amazing. We bought firewood, which lasted us for two nights directly from the hosts, which was very convenient. It’s also very conveniently located so you’re not far from things. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back soon!

The Hideaway

My boyfriend and I needed a weekend get away and this is just what we needed. John was fantastic and created such a welcoming environment. The camp sites are well spaced from one another giving you privacy. It was great getting to mingle with other campers and have our pup make friends . We decided to rent a tandem Kayak ( this will really test your relationship... I highly don't recommend instead go with a single 😂). The shower is outdoors with great hot water and the bathroom is clean. To all my book readers this place is perfect to just relax and read and enjoy. From the various hammocks, swing chairs, trampoline, tree fort and the bar by the river with various lights at night . You cannot go wrong.

Creekside "B"

We loved staying in "The Hideaway", such a private spot. The property was very unique and fun. The outdoor shower was much appreciated. We kayaked up the creek in the morning in John's kayaks. So pretty, thanks for a lovely stay.

It was an absolutely amazing camp and experience! It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people. J&P and JJ are the kindest most thoughtful hosts ever! Water, wood, fire, boat rides…KINDNESS! Nothing but happiness here at J&P. And the place is spotless! It was more and better than I had ever expected. Love this place and the family! :) never wanted to leave and cannot wait to return! 10 outta 10

Tranquil A-Frame At Cypress Edge

Creekside "A"

The tent camping at Creekside A was great! Lots of space and a beautiful view of the creek. Hosts were kind and even brought us cornhole and firewood to our site. Enjoyed a peaceful morning kayak, was great to have rentals available. Dog friendly! Highly recommend
