It was a beautiful place and our host was really awesome, i really recommend honey’s place for couple of days it is a tiny treasure in the middle of Miami! I hope we can go back later!

Serene Escape
John's land offers a serene escape from the city, right in the heart of Miami. One detail that stood out to me was the wooden platforms at the different tent sites—something I hadn't encountered before. These platforms ensure a dry, flat surface, which I really appreciated. The lake was perfect for swimming, and the kayaks added an extra layer of fun. Exploring the property, with its lush greenery and roosters, was really cool.

An urban oasis in Miami! We love coming here to get away from the fast paced city life. My dog loves it too! Beautiful fruit trees, clean toilet, bonfire pit, magical swimming hole, canoe, kayaks etc.

Best kept secret in Miami
We wanted to take the kids camping but still do some city stuff, and this place was just perfect! The minute we arrived, the kids were hyped when they saw the lagoon. It was way more than I expected. My husband and I couldn’t believe this little oasis was actually in Miami. Once you're in there, you forget you’re even in the city.
The lagoon was a blast. Our pup and the kids had so much fun jumping off the platform and kayaking around. It was seriously awesome. If you’re looking for a mix of camping vibes and city fun, this spot is where it’s at! And No worries no alligators lol 😆

An oasis in Miami
What a beautiful place to pitch a tent! You don’t even feel like you’re in the city with its variety of tropical plants and a gorgeous lake. Close to i95, you can get to downtown Miami and to the beach quickly. John is an attentive host, you can truly feel the love he has for the land. Highly recommend.

A beautiful oasis of a venue
We absolutely love being in this space, the peaceful lake and all its beautiful plants to walk by or even better with the kayak or standup paddle board. The open space was wonderful and the gardens were beautiful with flowers and butterflies. It was a quiet and safe space for our kids to be with lots to explore, there was always something exciting to see! It’s definitely a space to retreat from the city without actually leaving the city. It’s so close to everything in Miami because it’s near I-95 so it’s easily accessible. We had a wonderful May Day event for our group and there was parking available for everyone attending including our vendors. It was a magical venue for a special event for our children. Our host was very friendly, he had eggs from his fluffy chickens that run about the property and they were delicious. Definitely recommend for families looking to stay for night or to have events!
