Hi! We are a small family run 501c-3 wildlife sanctuary. We live on the property, and are available for any needs you might have. During your stay you will be able to see many exotic, and domestic animals. We also have at the sanctuary, and work with many critically endangered animals like the New Guinea Singing dog. Our sanctuary is located in one of the few hilly areas of Florida, with the Trilby Trails just minutes away.

What ana amazing stay!! Our little family loved it. The home was very comfortable and the animals on the farm were a daily delight everyday meeting and getting to know. Dona really spoils here animals and you can tell it. They are use to humans and love to be loved on. We planned a tour with Dona with was informative and just fun getting to meet all the animals. We also had some fun adventures around the area. It was a great stay

Fun weekend trip!
My husband and I had a great experience at Gulf Winds Wildlife Sanctuary. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised with a quaint and clean room. Dona is super friendly and was nice enough to give us a tour of the exotic animals. A quaint and cute Historic Downtown Dade City is only a 13 minute drive away and has several delicious restaurants to choose from! The purpose of our trip was to relax and that’s what we did.

Peaceful, Quiet Sanctuary
I loved this place. I needed a quiet sanctuary to study for a test and it was peaceful and quiet. Lots of beautiful animals and very clean. Lots of room to spread out all my study materials, too.

Loved my time there. The family was nice and the tour was amazing. It's a cute apartment in one of the barns. Very clean loved the wildlife.

The Barndominium was beautiful and sooo comfortable. My family and I loved touring the exotic animal rescue as well. Donna and her mom made us feel so welcome.

The accommodation was very nice. It was quieter than I thought it would be after dark, not a bad thing. The roosters have a unique sound. I am a huge horse lover so the horses were a highlight for me and the new foal was nice to see. I was hoping one of the other three expecting mares would have went into labor while I was there but that’s a rare gem to see.
