private lot situated near orange groves and a spring fed lake with plenty of trails nearby. Outside the city limits but still within distance of shopping and sight seeing such as Bok Tower. You can camp under oak tree in back or in front. Accommodations include washing machine with clothes line to dry, toilet, fully enclosed hot outdoor shower, rec room with small tv and desk and couch BBQ area, fire pit and full size frig/freezer, and mini kitchenette.

Hidden away piece of Level land nestled by orange groves and a private lake with garden sitting area and fire pit for a camp fire. Orange grove and lake surround you. Garden area by lake in back has chairs. A little backyard sanctuary away from the city but not too far away. Boating, trails and Disney within an hour. Updated accommodations via a finished basement allow a private indoor flush toilet , full size refrigerator/freezer, fully enclosed outdoor hot shower and sink area, and Smoker/BBQ area Pitch tent under oak tree in back of my cracker cottage. No fishing in this lake as it’s private but trails and other secret lakes as well as chain of lakes nearby within 5 miles with public boat ramps. No fires if fire ban in effect ! Nearby lakes are lake walk in water and lake kissimmee and tiger lake

You can bring your smaller RV to this private piece of Level land nestled by orange groves with a garden sitting area and all you need for comfort. The site has a fire pit for a camp fire. Acres of orange groves and a private lake in back to surround you. Garden area is by lake in back and has chairs with side tables and smoker as well as small charcoal grill for your use . Luxuries of home available in basement area such as fridge and microwave. A little backyard sanctuary away from the city but not too far away.

This bedroom is in a finished walk out basement area in my cottage. Other guests may be on property so you will need to be considerate of noise levels when guests are present please. The bedroom opens to the garden sitting area and backyard lake view. A connected flush toilet and kitchenette area. There is an outdoor hot shower steps away as well. Queen size bed Don’t expect perfection but worth your hard earned money !

Cheryl's land is so peaceful! It was relaxing staying under the huge oak tree out back and seeing the lovely lake and birds. The hot water shower was really nice and the sink was so helpful for dishes and washing up. It was also a big help to have access to the basement flush toilet and fridge/freezer during my stay. Cheryl is a kind and caring host! I hope to be back again soon!

We didn't actually spend the whole night but it was because of the weather, not the site. Cheryl has a very nice spot, greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. I'd give it a try if you are in the area!

The owner was personable as she greeted us upon arrival; however, it wasn’t exactly as described. Hookup for water and electric was directly in front of the owners home. As stated there was fishing and fires allowed which was wrong. We tried to fish and was told it was a private pond and was made to leave. It was a pretty setting but we won’t return.

We had a lovely stay at Cheryl’s place out in the middle of the orange gross. Sweet smelling air and I a nice view of the lake. Sheryl was very responsive to communication and the delightful coast.

Grooving under the Oak

This was our firs Hipcamp experience and it was just perfect. We needed a last minute spot for a few days and were not disappointed with the Groovy Grove. Cheryl has a lovely spot that accommodated our 31' traval trailer with ease. The location, with a lake and orange groves was lovely. I totally recommend.

Cheryl is an excellent host with a phenomenal property!! She is so kind, promt and easy to work with. The property has all the splendor of the outdoors; lakes, trails, state park down the road, fireplace, casual seating, I plan to go back and would definitely recommend this to others with an RV!

Truly Peaceful Stay

Cheryl was so welcoming and kind, I feel so lucky to have found this spot. Her yard is beautiful and she really cares about her visitor's comfort. She has a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area and can guide you to where to see the sights. And she's just great to talk to! I felt very safe staying here on my own. Thank you again Cheryl, this stay was a highlight of my trip.

Cheryl had the tent ready for us and her hospitality was fantastic. We even left with some cookies that she had made the next morning. It was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed our time there.

Orange grove serenity

This was a nice quiet spot next to orange groves and a pond. Lovely yard to sit and relax. I do recommend leveling pads as the ground is somewhat uneven and soft. I had an easy go of it with my 17’ travel trailer. I recommend and I will stay again when in area.

Better than described.
pow wow on the porch by grove/lake
This place is even better then described I had an awesome experience. The host is very accommodating, friendly and helpful. It's a very safe location. Its beautiful and the host makes sure guest can enjoy the beauty of the place. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and has an awesome beautiful lake you can enjoy. She has sitting areas for guest enjoyment. The area where the tent is on the side of the house includes a full tent camping experience, tent, linens, and two chairs. This place is well worth even driving a little out of the way to get to it. I would highly recommend and next time I'm even close to the area I would enjoy going back.

Lovely setting nestled between a lake and an orchard. I felt safe. This site is close to Bot Tower a must see botanical garden, close to Lithia Springs and also close to some hiking and mountain biking trails. The host is caring and accommodating, Cheryl had a beautiful smile and coffee ready in the morning. I intend on going back and highly recommended this stay

If you want privacy, this is the place to camp. You pick the spot on the property where you wish to set up camp, we chose under a large Oak.Tree fir shade, as it was a hot day. But, you can set up in a grassy field if you want to. Either way, there is a beautiful view of a lake on one side and Orange Tree Mangroves on the other, which I enjoyed walking through. There are trail to walk, which go on a good distance. The host was kind and accommodating. I love that there are only a few campers at a time!

The campsite is a lovely hidden treasure. After trying to book a campsite in a state park to no avail because everywhere was full, I found this lovely location.. The location is a large piece of land, someone's property, with a house occupied by the owner. It backs up to orange tree groves and has a lovely lake. We were able to pick where we would like to set up our tent. We chose under a large oak tree for shade, which overlooked a lake. We drove our car right on the property. You could drive an RV and set up as well. The property is surrounded by trails to walk and orange tree groves to explore. I loved the privacy and peace and quiet, as the owner has limited campers per day. We were the only ones there this time!
