First site is a 12x32 concrete slab with city water and a 30-amp camper electric service. The second site (near the rear of the property) is a 10x14 concrete slab with city water and a household electric service of about 13 amps. No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!

Great quiet and safe location

This is a wonderful Hipcamp. It is quiet and serene. The concrete pad was plenty big and flat and the hookups worked perfectly. Sandy, our host, was so kind and friendly. You can see rocket launches from the yard! What’s not to love?

Great Host

This was fantastic place for me to camp. I have a 25 foot trailer that fits perfect on the new concrete pad. He has 30 amp power box and water installed in an ideal location. I went to Merritt Island every day. It's a quick and easy trip from this location. He was very personable and helpful knew the area well recommending places of interest along with good restaurants to eat at. I will definitely be back when I'm in this area.

Nice Site and Host

Sandy was great, very friendly and communicative. The pad was level, water and electric worked well. We were able to see a launch from the back yard!
