I bought this land to start an Permaculture Off Grid Eco-Village community. Iso far, its a very small 'community' of sorts. We do get a lot of visitors! It beautiful peaceful land, on the river and only 15 minute drive to Gainesville or ALachua,FL.   Its also very close , an nice bikeride to the Temple of the Universe, where they have free yoga 4 days per week and great talks by Mickey/ Michael Singer.  Learn more about this land: This listing is for a tent or non-hooked up RV site on 92 acre Riverfront Camp near Gainesville FL.  We have compost toilets and a hot water outdoor shower and a big outdoor sink for washing dishes. It is on 1/2 mile of paved road frontage, almost a mile of river frontage. Great for swimming, fishing, we have one canoe and one kayak available, and of course you can bring your own.. Hiking trails. Great country for biking, past horse, llama, buffalo and cow farms. We have a off grid cabins for rent as well for $99 per night, and are building more off grid tiny homes. We are zoned to have up to 99 sites. The land is available to lease long term and may be for sale, or part of it may be soon. I am looking for partners with whom to do a Tiny Home campground, and put in some infrastructure like jacuzzi, pool, music stage, art studio, fruit trees and permaculture gardens.

Nice secluded camping spot
Were on our way through to visit northern Florida. Great secluded place to set up camp for the night, reminding me of the Everglades a bit. Our family enjoyed picking the many wild blueberries that grow around the area. Host was very friendly. If staying at the campsite on the stream, make sure to dress to prevent ticks. Long pants, tucked into boots is best.

It’s a no go for me
There’s two very small campsites that are accessible by car which is okay I’m used to hiking to get to campsites. However there is a bunch of trailers/homes where families live spread out all over the property. Anywhere you want to camp is essentially someone’s backyard and you can hear them quiet well from most sites. The path to get in is not suitable for a sedan and the “River” is not above calf level on your legs even in rainy season. I did see two deer and there is an abundance of wild blueberries. This is five dollar camping not $30 some odd dollars 💵
