Welcome to Free to Be Acres. An entire private acre, nestled in the beautiful N Central Florida forest. In spring country you are free to unwind and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Be greeted by a family of deer while enjoying your morning coffee or tea, listen to the barred owls talking to one another in the evenings. You will have easy access to both the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe rivers just a short 5 minute drive from your campsite. Encounter manatees, spotted gar and a multitude of different species of turtles as you float down the crystal clear Ichetucknee river. Spend the day boating or fishing on the Santa Fe or world famous Suwannee River. Just 15 minutes from well known Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist Blue Springs, Rum Island Spring, Ichetucknee Spring State Park, Peacock, Little River, Royal and more. We offer 30/50amp electric and water on site as well as a port o let that has weekly scheduled cleanings. Dumping of black and gray tanks can be done on your way out of town (within a 1/4 mile) for a nominal fee of $15.With our super easy pull thru/around site there will be no arguing backing up your RV!! Come enjoy our peaceful, private, 1 acre campsite in spring country. With 3 rivers, dozens of springs and a handful of state parks all within 15 min, there is no better place to come and unwind with family and friends. We provide a picnic table and fire pit to make those nights even more special. Well behaved pets allowed but must be attended to by guests. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore so bring the toys! We offer electric, water and a toilet at our site. There are two campgrounds with dumping options within 1/4 mile for a nominal fee. Camp host April is owner/operator of Paradise Paddle Adventures. She offers guided kayak/paddle board tours and rentals for an additional fee. Contact her directly for that. Area Springs and Recreation attractions include the following springs and state parks. My husband and I camped on Aprils property this past weekend. She was such an awesome host and we will be booking again real soon. She gave us great advice on where to paddle board and even shuttled us. The last night we were there her kid and friend brought us fresh baked cookies (score). I forgot to put my eggs back in the cooler from the first night and she said no problem and brought us fresh laid eggs from her chickens.

We had a wonderful experience at this campground! Our site was spacious and easily accommodated our 30ft 5th wheel with plenty of room to spare. The host was fantastic—super friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing stay, and we truly appreciated how quiet it was. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

Best place to camp for the springs

This has been my best Hipcamp experience thus far. I cannot stress how wonderful of a location this is. We were so incredibly close to Ichetucknee Springs and Ginnie is not too far either. April was such an attentive host who proactively communicated with me and always made sure we were comfortable. I am already tempted to book another stay here. It's a great place whether it's just you or several folks. You will not regret booking here!

Had a wonderful experience in a private campsite in fort White w/ kayaking on the Santa Fe River nearby. Host supplied kayaking services & even brought us fresh eggs in the morning! Plenty of wood for campfires👍
