Dockside campgrounds is on the Steinhatchee River. We are located only 1.5 miles from the public boat ramp and offer day use and overnight dockage. Our campground offers 4 beautiful lots with large palm trees and beautiful water views. We have full hook-ups at all spots offering water, sewer and 50V hook-up.

The location is perfect for scalloping. Kristen was great with prompt communication when I needed her. Lots of mosquitoes so make sure to bring spray. We had a great stay here.

Excellent, convenient spot right on the river. Clean gravel to park on, pick nick table, shade from small live oaks, just perfect. Just tie your boat on the beautiful, floating dock and hit the scalloping and fishing grounds just a few minutes down river in the morning. The public boat ramp is only a few minutes down the road as well. Be sure to have a game plan when you come here, it’s a small town meant for fishing and scalloping, not a bustling city with stores crowds of people and useless garbage to waste your money on. Old Florida, just right 🙌🏻

The entry to the site is odd and concerning. We had no problem with getting to the site, and the rocks laid at the site are great. There is a pile of equipment and lumber in the yard. Not as nice as it is pictured. But it is quiet. We caught one catfish. The water is freshwater. The noseeum bug are horrible in the morning and nights, and a few through out the day (we went in March). we paid for 3 nights but left the day after we arrived. Because there is quite literally nothing to do in the town unless you have a boat. Renting one and going on a charter is ridiculously high. The owner stopped responding to my messages when I arrived, and never responded to me asking if there is anything she could do about refunding me considering we left because it was not worth staying the remaining time.

We stayed at Site 3 and 4. Kristin was an excellent, accommodating and a very gracious host to work with. The sites are exactly as described. Perfect spot on the water. We were able to tie up two rented skiffs for scalloping with ease. We’ve been RV’ing and scalloping for the last six years and this is the best spot yet!

Very nice spot, conveniently located hook ups. Right next to the water with some beautiful oak trees and picnic table. Perfect if you have a boat because they have a nice floating dock with plenty of cleats. The boat ramp is located on the same road only a mile or so away.

The campsite is very private as it is down a dead end road. The location on the river was perfect and having coffee in the morning outside was a delight. The campsite spaces were ok but didn’t have any picnic tables. We were told that they were destroyed in the hurricane a year ago and that they are going to be replaced. We want to book again for next year but noticed the price doubled from what we just paid. 😔

We ended up to stay in site#2 (pulled in) it was easier to get in with our toyhauler. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock available and the town. We met several locals that were welcoming. We will definitely come back.
