The property is 3.29 acres. Surrounded on 3 sides by thick trees. The front of the property is open and great for letting the dogs run around. The back of the property has a pond and dock fed by a creek that is great to swim in that also feeds a major bayou in Pensacola Bay. Perfect for a kayak, canoe of paddle board trip. And also has about .75 acres of thick wooded area for a great forest feel on the property. Only one 50 Amp connection but if you have a generator or are tent canping I have many locations to campPitch your tent or park your rv on this beautiful property. Just over 3 acres that has a mix of open land, wooded area and a dock with a pond and creek to swim in. Downtown Pensacola is only 15-20 min away. The naval aviation museum is only 5 min away and Johnson beach is only 15 minutes away. So much to do in such a close proximity These are boondocks spots.

Great location.
The host was great. He's a Navy pilot captain. And very personable. The property is located in a fantastic location to explore the area like the aviation museum and fantastic beaches and the price is more than reasonable, as compared to anything else in the area.

Great Site, Great Host
Russell's spot is beautiful. It's shaded with a picnic table. The beautiful beaches of Pensacola Beach/Gulf Breeze are only 30 mins away. Unfortunately due to personal reasons, we were unable to stay for the duration of our reservation. Russell was so understanding and helpful. We hope to get back there one day. Russell is a great host. I highly recommend Russell's place if you are in the Pensacola area.

Never booking with hipcamp again.
I booked a night with “Russell” through the Ap. I later got a an automated response stating our stay was approved. Then I got a message from Russell saying the site is NOT available for any time in the “foreseeable future” and that he thought he had removed it from hipcamp. …… my credit card was billed. I later was refunded the base rate but was not given back the $8.00 processing fees. I should have been given 100% of my money back since this site is being advertised in error and actually doesnt exist.

Beautiful and convenient.
The location was easy to find. The scenery was beautiful and the tenting spot was just perfect in size and comfort. There was firewood right nearby that I could purchase . If I had more time, I would have enjoyed flying my kite in the Meadow. My dog had a blast as well.
