Outstanding experience!
John and his wife Pat take great care of their land! Along with their vegetation ! They are warm, very polite and friendly people—they give crystal clear instructions and run an amazing farm!
I felt at home the entire time I was there, felt very safe and you can tell the plants are happy and everything’s healthy!

Common Ground Farm Camp was perfect for our 2 day stay - we enjoyed kayaking at the nearby Blue Spring State Park and visits to local breweries and bars.
The facilities (especially the shower !) were very welcome and it was very interesting to see the farm at work.

An amazing organic farm with lettuces growing vertically and beats on top and lots of herbs. There are a few sweet camping spots with outdoor toilet and hot shower and an outdoor kitchen! And so close to blue Springs.

Great stay!
We loved staying at John’s and Pat’s organic farm. They were very accommodating and allowed us to extend our stay. We were visiting with two young children and they both had a blast. The older one who has been interested in organic farming was able to pick some tomatoes and help with some tasks. The vegetables, eggs and cheese we got at their market were very fresh and delicious. The farms is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We would love to come again!

Everything you need in one place!
We had a party of 3 and two tents, stayed in the Kale site and there was plenty of space. John and his wife were phenomenal hosts, showed us around and provided us with a campfire pit, we even forgot some plates and they helped us out. I loved this spot. It was clean and simple with all amenities available. I would stay here again!

Farm Camping.
Amazing camping location. Close to many Florida Springs. John has a lot of amenities to include hot water shower, flushing toilets, outdoor kitchen and outlets at the camping site. It’s quite and beautiful and couldn’t say enough about the grounds. Only fires are allowed with the mesh screen cover due to the green houses.

Staying at John’s felt very safe and comfortable. It was my first Hipcamp experience and I was the only one there at the three sites. Easy to find and easy access to the site. Very pet friendly and great bathroom facilities! A quiet night and a great sleep! John was always nearby to answer questions and Assure that everything was OK.

John was a great host. We received a lot of bad weather throughout our stay and he was very accommodating. He often checked in while we were in the “common” area to see if we needed anything or just to have a friendly conversation.

Loved camping with 4 other women 60 + on this cute farm. It was peaceful and charming. The shower and bathroom area was a plus with an adorable light path to show you the way from the campsite. Also, purchased some local honey and turmeric root from their whole foods store.

We booked all three sites for an camping n kayaking weekend long event! John is a very gracious host and always ensures we are aware of all the amenities. The bathroom and toilet room are very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this gem of a HipCamp!

Great place to stay!
This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was wonderful. John was a great host with clear directions and good communication. The campsites, farm and facilities were very clean and well kept. Very nice outdoor hot shower and separate toilet/sink made a big difference! There’s also electric at the sites, an outdoor kitchen and grill, seating area and fire pit available. John was kind, helpful and available as needed but we also felt like we had privacy. The neighboring property has goats which were fun to visit at the fence line. The greenhouses were also interesting. There is some traffic noise from the nearby road but it was quiet in the middle of the night. The town is very close including publix and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Camping with amenities
John and Pat were wonderful hosts. The three campsites are perfect for tent, pop-up or small van. John took the time to walk us through the hydroponic garden. The shower and restroom facilities are in a covered area outdoors. They were extremely clean. traffic noise from the nearby road is a little loud during the day but quiets down at night. There is a great outdoor bar area with a propane grill. We really enjoyed socializing there with friends and fellow campers. I highly recommend camping on the farm!

We definitely want to come back and check out John's land our next road trip thru Florida, it actually looks pretty neat to take advantage of as we never did this type of camping before. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see all that John's land had to offer as we were between another priority and heading back north. We arrived after dark and yet, John the good host, met us and oriented us to the campsite and amenities. John offered to show us the entire place the following morning, but we were moving on early. It is a very quiet and relaxing place to camp, nicely treed and shaded.
There was a very extensive and large hydroponix vegetable greenhouse and garden and what appeared to be a relatively large farm to walk around on. For such a reasonable price it had a nice outdoor kitchen to cook meals on set off by itself, an outdoor shower & bath, by his ?barn? and electric hookup at the camping site itself. If we read the website correctly our recollection was it offered the opportunity to even pick some vegetables to cook with our meals in the kitchen?

Very nice place to camp. It’s an actual working vegetable farm with harvesting taking place certain days during the morning and daytime. Only a couple of camping spots and camping neighbors are close so you will get to see them quite often. We met some very nice campers and shared meals with them. Loved that there were electric connections available and there was a toilet and a shower in walking distance. The farm is located on a main road, so at night you will here lots of cars going by and some roosters in the morning. We were able to bring our dog which was great and there was a great dog park and trails nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy and convenient tent camping
My husband and I really enjoyed tent camping at John’s farm camp. We had just enough interaction with our hosts so that we felt both comfortable in asking if we needed anything and also had privacy to relax and do our own thing. John gave us a tour of their beautiful farm operation, which had mostly vegetables when we went. Both John and his wife talked with us and checked in on us during our stay when we were out around the camp.
We brought our dog and she enjoyed meeting their two dogs May and Lily.
There was a really nice outdoor grill/patio area where we cooked our meal the first night. The shower and bathroom facilities are both clean and comfortable, large and not cramped at all.
Our tent site had electricity and a hose nearby and we were able to park our compact car next to the tent site.
We really enjoyed John’s place. The one thing I would let people know is that this place is very close to the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise, as well as the neighbor has a rooster that crows from about 4am-7:30am, so we ended up purchasing earplugs and those helped.
Other than that, it was very convenient and comfortable. We highly recommend camping here if you have the opportunity.
