Hello good day! My friends and I stayed there for 3 nights (5/1-5/4), while we did enjoy our stay there, I would like to inform my fellow readers that the place was very hidden. There is no lighting in the campground. There is no signage and GPS will not see roads past the entrance but just follow it anyway. When we arrived we noticed a sign stating to check in, upon doing so, the employees seemed to act very dumbfounded that I decided to follow the instructions posted on the sign and came in at all. Unfortunately, the woman in the office, did not greet me and was not informative. We struggled to find amenities, and there was no map to help us navigate the campground. We headed to site 5, to hook up our Class C RV but the sewage hookup was nowhere to be found (probably hidden under debris). We decided to give the campground a call. Marc, one of the campground employees was so kind and helped us look. However, he ended up moving us to site 6 because he had trouble finding it also. After that we didn't have any more issues with the site. We tried several times throughout our stay but could not get a hold of anyone in the office at any point after that. Overall, my group and I enjoyed our stay, we were safe and mostly out and about exploring other parts of town, and Tampa. We would definitely stay again and think the park is ideal for anyone looking to star gaze. We do however think that the staff could do better to inform guests. Thank you for reading!

We went RV camping and we had an amazing time there's so much to explore there in the river is right there so he can go play in the water. We found lots of shark teeth.

Beautiful campsite. Very quiet while we were there. Enjoyed the walk to the river. Some of the sites do not have a fire pit/ring. Alderman's Ford Conservation Park is nearby and worth a visit.

A lovely campsite

I really enjoyed my time at Cedarkirk and would definitely return. The camp sites were separated by bushes to give privacy. The amenities were clean, and the land around the camp was beautiful. The area was peaceful and serene. I would highly recommend a visit.

The campground itself is very secluded. Individual campsites are spacious and have a privacy barrier of shrubs between sites.

Best place for MTB riders to stay

Best place to stay close to Alafia River park, if you are a MTB rider; this is the place to stay with friends and family. very nice location, safe and friendly host. Immaculate bathrooms, and easy access to each spot.

We had a awesome time. The first night was a little different that expected because there was a group partying until late but other than that it was perfect. Our second day we walked for about 2 hours and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Other than fellow campers, we saw one employee temporarily for our entire stay. Highly recommend going back

Westminster Woods Site 2 (RV/Tent)

Highly recommend. Sites were well spaced out and clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and trash regularly emptied. Sites had electric and good water. Most sites had fire pits and there were group firepits and seating. The grounds were amazing. 170 acres with a lot of paths to explore. Very nice fresh spring fed creek with sandy bed which led to the Alaska River. Would definitely return and stay again.

Beautiful, Activity Filled Spot

My family and I LOVED tent camping at Cedarkirk’s land!! The hosts were super kind and accommodating. They let us switch from Site 2 to Site 3 which right next to each other since Site 3 was a little bigger than Site 2 plus Site 3 had a pre-made pit already which my husband and I wanted and liked. Site 2 had a grill to use though. The sites all had a water faucet thing which was so convenient. The sites are all pretty close together but even with that we still felt we had our privacy. The property was so beautiful and full of activities and trails. We did the Sands and Swamp Trail. We would have loved to do the kayaking/canoeing. Next time hopefully. We loved that the site had bathrooms and showers for use. The bathroom in relation to Site 3 was a short walk away. Not bad at all. I was able to quickly walk there with a toddler each time. The woods were super quiet at night to the point you can hear the trees whisper. This easily turned into our best camping trip yet and already said we’d come back!! We’re trying to get my mom and sister and her family to join us next year. Such a unique and good vibes spot. I will definitely recommend Cedarkirk to anybody! I’m thinking of different way this spot can be utilized.

Really nice campground. I didn’t explore much as I just needed a quiet place to tent camp overnight after a sport event, but it was perfect for me. Site was large, with two spigots, a big picnic table and grill. Bathroom was very clean and great water pressure in the shower! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful camping experience! The site was clean, private, and felt very safe. All the amenities were excellent and well-maintained. It was especially great for families — the kids loved the playground and had so much fun. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable getaway for all of us. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at Cedarkirk! My girls loves exploring the river and the playground. We were thankful the host was so accommodating to our needs as well. Truly a wonderful place to disconnect with the city and get down into the wilderness. We will be back. Thank you again.

Always a wonderful stay

If you love peace and quiet, Cedarkirk campground is the place. Set back in the forest are 6 sites. Bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. You can take hikes throughout the property and down to the river. As professional photographers the area has a lot to offer. If you mountain bike, Alafia and Balm Boyette are close by.

The land is expansive and there’s plenty to do and see! The camp sites are very spacious and surrounded by trees which provide a nice amount of privacy. We loved it!

Nice rustic woodsy campsites with full hookups. Has nearby campfire rings with supplied wood. Lithia Springs and Allifia River State Parks nearby within a few miles.

Westminster is a small, secluded venue. It offers a great deal more privacy than larger campgrounds. I found it to be ideal for me. Power & water hookups are similar to other campgrounds. The bathroom, while antiquated, was clean with everything working as it should. If you like seclusion, privacy, and a place away from the hustle & bustle, this is the place for you.

Stayed at this campsite while traveling to see family. Bathrooms were clean and easy to get to. Our site was large and level and easy to find, we arrived after hours. The site had a fire ring, picnic table, water and electric hookup. We felt the site was private, even for a campground. Will stay here again when in the area!

I stayed in site #6 and just loved the campground. Men's restroom had two toilets, two sinks, two showers with plenty hot water and very clean kept by the staff. Great camp host and tentative to your needs !, site has gravel and it has electric, water, sewer, no fire pit but has table and trash bin at the front. we camped in the car and enjoyed the place to the max... there are only six sites so very few traffic and somewhat shaded. will come back for sure!!!.

My family and tent camped here and had a wonderful time! The trails are nice and there was plenty of firewood available which was a huge plus. We were hopeful to use the amenities such as rock climbing and zip lining that are shown on the map but they were not staffed at the time of our visit. Definitely will stay again!

We loved camping with our family at Cedar Kirk. It was plenty spacious for our rv and tents, a beautiful property, well kept, and nice clean facilities with hot water within very close proximity. Overall great choice! Hosts were also very helpful, friendly and communicative!

We loved camping with our small trailer. The sites are large, flat, clean and shady. Showers are warm with great pressure! Staff friendly is helpful. We stayed Monday to Friday. Only other site in use and the camp was empty. It was so quiet and private. We will definitely be back!
