We wanted to boondock for a weekend and this site was perfect. Close to home but yet no noise pollution. Seen about 5 cars drive by all weekend. The site is very shallow but being it’s not built up it was perfect. Plenty of fallen branches to burn. Kept a fire going all weekend.

Much appreciated
This is a very clean clearing in a larger wooded area. Access is directly off the street. It is quiet and isolated from nearby traffic. A great place to catch your breath after a day on the road.

A peaceful spot among the trees.
A wonderful quiet remote spot for dry camping. Large and tucked in the trees. Spent two nights here and saw less than ten cars in total pass by on the road. Lots of quiet paved roads for miles of biking. It was great to have a fire pit on site. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing time. Land was beautiful. The only bad things was ( this is no reflection of the property owner or property itself) but about 3 a clock someone went to the house they are building down the street blasting music and riding atvs especially close to our camp sight and shooting off guns. Doubtful that those people were suppose to be there cause they were only around for an hour. But with just 3 women camping alone it was a little scary since we aren't from around there. But this situation was only on our Last night. Other than that no traffic it's very peaceful. But I do recommend making sure you have plenty of fire wood. We actually ran out our first night so went into town and went to Lowes. The next day. The property is beautiful qnd the campsite itself have a fairly big clearing for multiple tents we took a 10 people tent and still had a lot of space.

Beautiful and secluded camping
We loved our stay at this campsite! The area was well maintained and close to the road, but still tucked away enough to feel private (the road was very lightly trafficked, maybe one car an hour at night). We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a secluded camping experience.
Tip for future campers: If you’re staying longer than a day, we highly recommend bringing firewood. The site is in a pine forest area so the wood burned extremely fast, which made it difficult to keep the fire going. The Ace Hardware and Tractor Supply Co in Dunnelon were the closest spots we found that sold firewood.

Exactly as advertised
Just to preface this review, my friends and I were not prepared in advance and booked last minute, so the majority of the blame is on us. We arrived at night around midnight and it took us a few minutes to find the spot because it was so well hidden in a hole in the wall of trees. We pulled out blankets from the car (We didn’t have an RV or tent) then the mosquitoes set in and it was buzz buzz buzz until we dipped out of there at daybreak. The spot was remote and we loved that. We just weren’t prepared ourselves to deal with mosquitoes. If you book here make sure to prepare for the mosquitoes in advance.

Simple, nice and remote. Met our needs for the weekend! Close enough to town to grab food etc if you need it but far enough away that we felt alone!

Perfect spot to yourself.
This is a awesome secluded spot right off the back roads of an undeveloped housing addition. Firewood is plentiful and fire ring is perfect for that evening of peaceful camping. We saw the surrounding forest light up with the flicker of lightning bugs almost out of a storybook. (Put on music not too loud and it seems like a light show at dusk). Hipcamp host got back to us and was amazing! We give it two thumbs up!!!! Remember to take care of the spot so others can enjoy the experience too right around all of the neighboring springs. Grateful for the care our host gave us.

This rural campsite is a nice piece of Florida forest, situated on a quiet country road. The site was easy to find, and we were able to set up camp very quickly. The land is very shallow, the campsite was just a few car lengths from the road, which wasn’t much of an issue because of how little traffic came through. There’s a barbed wire fence and no trespassing signs around the border of the land, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on kids and pets around that.
This campsite is a very no-frills rustic site. There’s a clear area to set up camp and an open fire pit. We believe at one point there were bricks surrounding the fire pit, but when we visited it was just a dirt pit, with a handful scattered bricks throughout the surrounding woods.
Our adventure cat loved exploring the area, and claimed a cute little shelter set up from previous campers. It was great to have such a shaded site which is perfect for those hot sunny Florida days.

Valerie’s place was a simple, no frills, camping spot. It was quiet and remote. We made a fire in the on site fire pit.. We had a great night’s sleep in our camper.
