Welcome to Cowtown Cabins, a premier Glampground destination near Ocean City, MD! FALL UPDATE: IT'S GETTING CHILLY OUT! WE RECOMEND BRINING EXTRA BLANKETS OR AN ELECTRIC BLANKET. NO SPACE HEATERS ARE ALLOWED. YURTS CLOSE ON OCT 31 AND REOPEN MAY 1st 2024. Cowtown is a old west town in the making that sits in the middle of a peaceful ranch just 6 miles from the ocean. Inside the town, (opening in phases 2023,) you'll find western glamping huts sure to please your cowboy within. Go ahead, stay in the jail, bank or head over to the Indian village and stay in one of the two belle tent yurts and enjoy the starry skies at night. On the outskirts of Cowtown, is an award-winning, hideaway tiny house and a unique barndominium where you can kick back in a jacuzzi and melt your stresses away. Over at the glampground you'll notice our majestic mascot, "Herbie" peacefully grazing outside your hut window who's also visible from the Indian tents. Herbie is our resident Miniature Highland which is a unique type of hairy cattle. He is noted for his unique crooked horns which we find endearing. Don't forget to check out our tiny house or barndominium as you'll have your very own barnyard outside your door, complete with a fuzzy alpaca, a pair of goats, a curly haired pig and even a Peacock! Cowtown is located in Selbyville, Delaware which sits near the border of Maryland and is very close to Ocean City, MD. The property has been a horse rescuing ranch for over two decades and is now expanding to offer many unique structures in an "old west" theme. Cowtown will be completed in 3 phases with the Indian village being done first. Two belle tent yurts have been erected and a communal firepit and bathhouse is in the works. Cowtown Glamping Cabins will stay open year-round and will be available for families, groups, organizations, retreats and even the occasional western themed wedding. We hope to see you soon at the ranch! FAQ's What should I bring to glamp? Bring your cooler, drinking water, towels, extra blankets for cooler summer nights, your firewood, charcoal, utensils and anything else you need to camp. Can I smoke? The yurts are strictly NO smoking inside, no vaping and no marijuana smoking as the next guest will appreciate an odorless welcome. Are there other glampsites? Yes! There is another yurt called the Painted Pony, and more unique stays are on the way! Which yurt should I choose? The main difference between the Painted Pony yurt and the Stargazer yurt is the roof and setting. The Stargazer yurt has a clear roof option and sits in the open. The Painted Pony yurt, has a regular roof and sits in the shade. Both yurts have 3-speed fans included. Can friends (not on my reservation) come visit me? No. A all visitors here must be registered guests as the public is not granted access here. Temporary gate codes are purely for security and part of our house rules are not to give them to others. Is the portable potty shared? Yes, the toilet is shared between the two yurts and tended to everyday. It is fully stocked with toilet paper, a handwashing sink, paper towels, a small mirror and IT FLUSHES! The toilet is very similar to a RV or camper toilet by pressing a pedal pump on the floor. Are there animals nearby? Yes! Cowtown is actually named after our unique Scottish Highland bull with one horn up and one down. You'll see “Herbie” peacefully grazing in a nearby pasture along with horses, goats, an alpaca, a rare curly haired pig, a peacock and fancy top-hat chickens. Sign up for “chores and tour” with Shelley and feed breakfast to all the animals, take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca and play the roll over challenge with Charlotte the pig! The chores and tour experience is $10/ person Check in is strictly between 4- 9pm and checkout is at 10am

Stargazer Bell Tent Yurt
Excellent glamping experience! We spent the night and then spent the next day at Assateague island. Tip: google maps might try to take you down the neighbors driveway. Look for the cowtown cabins signs and the gate.
