Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary

What a lovely farm with wonderful people. We had a very peaceful stay and enjoying seeing the animals and gardens. It is an amazing space. The rooster was not even too loud lol. Nice location for exploring too. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect group camping spot

Amazing place to camp and explore a farm full of animals and crops. The host Andrea is also an absolutely inspirational person, her and her husband Michael are running a whole operation. I got a tour of the farm from Andrea when I arrived and it was immediately obvious how passionate, dedicated, and informed she was about every detail. And hearing about all the shenanigans the animals cause felt like getting a recap of a reality show lol. Also the bathroom amazing! It’s literally nicer than any hotel bathroom I’ve been at. Will definitely be back with friends!

Andrea and Michael have created a sweet little spot complete with many well-cared for animals! I got in late so decided to purchase some wood for ease of starting a fire and it was well-seasoned and easy to start. The bathroom was great to grab a hot shower before continuing on with travels. The only lowlight was the nearby road sound. I imagine in an RV or lodging it is probably not really heard but in a tent, I had a tough time blocking it out. All in, it provided a great place for me to stop along my travels up the coast.

We spent two nights here and had a great time- we enjoyed meeting their dogs, the cats they feed, and the farm animals, and the bath house honestly looks nicer than many full on hotels I’ve stayed in before. Michael and Andrea are really welcoming and kind hosts and you can tell they really want campers staying on their land to have a good time. Both went out of their way to introduce themselves and make sure we were comfortable. We had mentioned in passing that we were there to do some birding and came back to an article on the best birding spots in the area printed and left at our tent, which was really thoughtful! We bought some of their eggs and they are delicious

We had a great time tent camping at the Huck and Buck farm. Plenty of space for our dog and we enjoyed the firewood option. The bathroom was awesome and we got a great tour of the farm! Would definitely go back!

Tiny but Mighty

A-Frame Cabin Tiny Home

We had a great stay at Huck & Buck Farm! The tiny home was perfect for our couple's getaway. It is tiny but it had everything we needed. Bed (pretty sure it was a queen size), refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and coffee bar, plates, silverware, cups, and more. There was a deck with seating and a private hot tub, a firepit with additional seating for chillin' or cooking. And very nice bathrooms. The tiny home also has air conditioning and heating, so it is suitable to stay in all year. Andrea & Michael are hospitable and were responsive to a couple of additional needs we had during our stay. The area is quiet yet close enough to the main town for places to eat if you don't want to cook on the fire pit or if the weather isn't cooperating. We'll be back again!

Camping at a farm, yes please!

I loved tent camping at Huck & Buck. Andrea was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in preparation for a pretty cold night. The bathroom is pristine and a nice touch if you need to ease into tent camping. We loved being able to see the animals and watch them play around. I highly recommend booking this space!

A Peaceful Retreat for Animal Lover

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary, and I must say it was an incredibly relaxing and heartwarming experience. This unique "bring your own tent" retreat offers a peaceful escape where you can connect with nature and, most importantly, some of the sweetest farm animals I've ever met.The highlight of my stay was definitely the animals. I spent hours interacting with the chickens, whose beautiful and vibrant feathers made each one feel like a work of art. The large turkeys were such characters—so talkative and full of personality! I had so much fun just listening to their distinctive calls.The ducks were absolutely lovable, and the goats were friendly, playful, and so photogenic! Of course, I can’t forget the pigs—especially the big, friendly ones that seemed to just want belly rubs all day long. But the true star of the show for me was the adorable little pot-bellied pig, who I couldn’t resist renaming "Oreo" due to his charming personality and color.The farm also had some sweet, curious cats roaming around, and I had a few delightful encounters with them. And let's not forget the pond duck—so cute and peaceful, adding to the serene atmosphere of the whole place.As for the facilities, I was beyond impressed with the bathroom! It was so luxurious and cozy, with a warm, welcoming vibe, complete with little good luck charms scattered around. It was a small detail, but it added to the overall sense of comfort and care the farm provides.

Super quick stop on our road trip but plenty of time to experience wonderful hospitality. The clean bath house with hot water was the best. Andrea checked on us even though we arrived late and gave me a tour of the land to help us settle in. I would definitely stop again if I’m out this way!

Fantastic Quick Getaway...

We had the most incredible experience at this campsite! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a hidden gem. The farm animals were such a joy to be around—they added a unique and charming touch to the whole stay. It was so peaceful to watch them and enjoy the natural surroundings. The highlight, though, was the quaint country bath house. It was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and had everything you’d need after a day of outdoor fun. It really added to the charm of the experience. Andrea, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. From answering our questions before booking to ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This site isn’t just great for camping—it’s perfect for outdoor events or even field trips to the farm. The combination of wide-open spaces, the animals, and the beautiful scenery make it a truly unique destination. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Maiden Voyage Perfection!

What a fun night we had at Huck & Buck Farm! It was our maiden voyage for our new RV and Andrea and Michael's farm could not have been a better choice for us. Andrea is so patient and generous and made sure we had a full tour of their place. I honestly don't think she ever stops working. LOVED all the animals -- too many chickens to count, ducks, goats, pigs, and turkeys. It's amazing what they have done with their farm and I want to return to see what they build next. We brought home eggs and chicken and would have brought home some late season peppers but time got away from us. We also brought our two dogs and their property is plenty big enough to take nice walks.

Absolutely wonderful, friendly and caring hosts. Loved meeting the pigs, goats and turkeys. The bathroom facilities were incredible - above expectation. So nice to have a hot shower on a cold morning. We stayed here as part of our drive along the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad. We would definitely recommend and definitely come back.

Our stay was good. My husband and I were on our way to Connecticut and decided to stop along the way and rest. It was very loud as far as vehicle noise all night and bright lights from a prison across the way. Woke up to a rooster and turkeys. The shower house was nice. We tried to pay several times for our wood that we added on but they kept saying to give it to the other person. So paid that through cashapp. We ended up getting up early and continuing our trip to site see in New York. Thankful we had a place to stay.

Huck and Buck was a perfect overnight stop during my camper van trip around the East Coast. They had access to everything you'd need and more, the shower/toilet house was amazing. Plus all the farm animals (and doggos) to hang out around. I would definitely return if ever back in the area, the host was very kind and hospitable. I can't leave out the tree swing, I was lucky to be the only camper that day and spent a lot of time swinging and chatting with Sophia 🐷

Super hosts and hot shower!

Stop looking! This is the perfect spot! Andrea and Michael are welcoming and very friendly hosts. They have a large property so you will not be close to other campers. We occupied for 3 nights a no electricity, no water spot right by a wooden area. Huck and Buck farm has a lot to offer (eggs, poultry, wood and other camping accessories) to make your stay very enjoyable. It’s also fun to walk around and get to know the many farm animals they have. While we were camping, our host invited us to a farm to table event they were having on the property. While being very warm and dynamic hosts, they are extremely respectful of your space and will not invade if you prefer to keep to yourselves. Trafic near by is heard a little during the day, but nights were absolutely quiet. And, best part, there is a dedicated toilet and shower facility, with fresh towels and HOT water!!! Andrea answers really quickly to questions or demand, her and Michael are super hosts!

Lovely Delaware Farm

Beautiful farm and lovely hosts. Andrea was gracious enough to show us around the property, meet the animals, and see the gardens. We had a prime spot with plenty of room for our big rig. Getting fresh eggs was a bonus. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Andrea!

This was my first time using Hipcamp and first time having a glamping experience. It was more than anything I expected. The hosts were amazing and I can tell they’re really passionate about their work. The farm is so cute, there so much to see and there are so many cute animals. I would definitely come again! The bathrooms are a HUGE plus!

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners of this property are incredibly kind and personable. We loved interacting with them! They took us on a tour of the grounds and let us meet all their farm animals! We had a blast and their farm is really something! Our trip was a quick in-and-out overnight but, from what we experienced, this location truly has everything you need. Nice camping spot, beautiful bathroom (so well decorated), and excellent shower. We would recommend!

Peace, nature, + creature comforts!

We had an AMAZING time staying with Andrea in the Self-care Glamping Tent! I cannot recommend it enough. Andrea has designed the tentspace to be comfy, welcoming, and peaceful. She has set it up with everything you might need and is very responsive if you have any questions or additional needs. She's really gone above and beyond to be a great host! The bathroom is modern, clean, and honestly feels quite luxurious for camping. It was delightful to have a warm shower and a clean bathroom on our glamping trip. The farm itself is also a lovely space full of plants, animals, and life! We loved getting to look around and we were delighted to buy some fresh eggs from them. Even though the glamping tent is right next to the road, it was very quiet and we barely noticed the street right there. All-in-all a 10/10 place to stay and we can't wait to come back again!

My host, Andrea was very welcoming and informative, showing me all around the farm and introducing me to the animals by name : ) The bed is very comfortable - it is truly a glamping experience. All the appliances were running fine. I never saw ticks or chiggers there, which have been problematic in other locations I have hipcamped at. As one other glamper noted, there is road noise in the tent. I would just be sure to bring my earplugs if I went back. It was a good and quiet camping experience, just what I was looking for. Andrea is SUPER RESPONSIVE and communicative.
