Small Living Quarter Horse Trailer

Onsite RV/trailer · Sleeps 2
A small private living quarters horse trailer nestled right next the horse Corrals with a small pond. This has a microwave, mini fridge, fan, AC, toilet, sink and air temp shower . There is a very comfortable queen bed over the gooseneck. There is a table and chairs outside under umbrella with a fire pit right next to trailer with a view of the horses.
This campsite offers a serene and private experience, with hosts Mary and Victor being notably welcoming and accommodating. The site is well-maintained, featuring clean privies, a hot outdoor shower, and ample space for both tents and trailers. Campers consistently mention the peaceful atmosphere, friendly horses, and the thoughtful amenities provided, such as firewood and a dish washing station. However, some visitors noted issues with pests, including mosquitoes, which affected their comfort during the stay.
Great spot. Super friendly host. We had a tent malfunction so he let us move over to a horse trailer that had been refit with two comfortable beds. Really nicely done.
My son and I appreciated the care they took to help us get settled, we were able to get all our needs met- water, our dog ran free, wood for the fire and a nice bed when I couldn’t get the hammock set up! We will definitely come back in the spring.
Easy to find with Google and written directions. The property is secluded and ideal for camping with close access to local trails. Mary and Victor were very nice and when asked were flexible to let us stay in the converted trailer due to weather. The horses were amazing and friendly to bet! Great experience and definitely will return and recommend.
Quiet and comfortable- great location. The camp sites are in the same field, but far enough apart for some privacy. The privies were clean and the hot outdoor shower was great after long days hiking!
Stayed overnight in the remodeled horsetrailer in the field. Quiet. Large enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Hosts were nice and the horses were beautiful.
This campground is amazing! If you want a place that is serine and private, this is the place for you. Mary and Victor are super hospitable and accommodating. They keep the outhouses clean and the campsites are roomy and comfortable. It’s a beautiful property with gorgeous horses. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay!!! I recommend this to anyone who likes true camping as there are no hookups, but gorgeous serenity and peace.
Vic was wonderful! Very responsive and attentive. There were 4 horses on the property at the time we were there. The two older females were wonderful and it was so nice to get to feed them some watermelon rinds! They loved them!
We will be back to camp again.
While they do have a grate for 2 of the fire pits, the slats are a bit wide, so you may want to bring your own griddle or high quality grate to set over the pit. The table provided was nice and helped keep the wood dry from the morning dew.
We took a day trip over to Miller's Pond two days in a row to hike and swim. It was awesome!
This is a very cute farm. Victor was very friendly. The campground was private for us; we were the only ones there though, and there were three campsites pretty close together; so there are no guarantees it will be as peaceful for you if that’s important.
Mary and Victor hosted us for one night and as my first experience on Hipcamp, exceeded all expectations! Victor showed us around when we got there (even though it was very late) and let us do our thing. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise on his gorgeous property. Highly recommend this place!
Overall we had a nice time. The hosts are friendly, horses are beautiful, and bed is quite comfortable. But we also had some problem with pests and allergies. All four of us started to sneeze inside the cabin, probably due to dust mite or mold. Also there's more mosquitoes and pests in general then other campsites I went to, and my repellent didn't work well. My lip went swollen for 3 days after a mosquito bite me during my sleep.
Very lovely site at the rear of the host’s property. Lots of space and feel of nature. Good fire pit and firewood for sale. Bonuses were a clean, fast, and easy water source as well as a dish washing station alongside the tap! The hosts are friendly and have a nice dog and horses to enjoy watching.
This spot was absolutely beautiful 😍❤️ We had a great experience. Both host were so friendly and welcoming. Horses that came up to our trailer was an incredible experience. I've never slept in a horse trailer, but there's a first for everything. I didn't get the greatest sleep. But hey, it's a horse trailer. There's a few minor things I would update, but honestly for the spot, cost and just amazing time we had. It was perfect! And literally no bugs when we were outside hanging out.
Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Made sure we had firewood and knew about the facilities available.
Site is great will definitely stay again if I’m in the area!
The host was so kind and welcoming. He saw that I was on my motorcycle and took extra care to make sure that I had an easy stay. A huge plus at this camp site is the warm showers. The host let me know about this and I was thrilled. Wonderful property and I would highly recommend.
It was a lovely, chill place to spend a night. We ended up being the only tent campers and had a huge green space to ourselves. Victor and Mary were super accommodating and pleasant. The land was well kept and everything was easy to find and accessible.
We had such a nice time staying at Mary and Victor’s cabin! We brought our cat with us and we all got to watch the horses graze all day, had a perfect setup for fire and cooking. The bed was super comfortable and we slept amazingly. I would definitely recommend this place to others and we would love to come back and stay sometime soon. Victor and Mary were both extremely kind and welcoming, thank you for such a lovely stay!
This site is exactly as described and pictured! Both hosts - Mary and Viktor - were extremely kind and welcoming. Yes, there was another group camping in the paddock BUT there's enough space that there was still plenty of privacy (more than a public campground). There was plenty of firewood provided at a reasonable $10. Everything was clean. Would definitely camp here again!
Great hospitality from Mary & Victor. The horses were friendly to my dog & I. There are also chickens on the site as well. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the cabin. It’s very homey & cozy.
I stayed for one night and going to stay for more whenever I need a getaway! Recommend. :)
Mary and Víctor’s farm was exactly I was looking for, a place out of the city to connect with nature, Mary and Victor are an amazing hostess, I went with my dogs and they really had fun, I recommend this place, the best
I had two grandkids along and they loved seeing the horses, chickens and the dog Marley. Victoria and Mary were so friendly and helpful. We had a great time in spite of the damp and cold weather. We explored local parks.
We spent the night there during a snow storm and Mary and Victor were so kind and helpful with everything! Super accommodating, we had a great stay there and would definitely stay here again !
