Enjoy all that our beautiful 150 acres mustang sanctuary has to offer. 100% of net proceeds go to our 501c3 nonprofit’s mission to promote, train and adopt out America’s wild mustangs. Our property has over five miles of trails, seasonal blueberry and huckleberry picking, and one-of-a-kind experiences like hiking along side our free roaming herd of formerly wild mustangs, exploring the property on our off road safari tours, yoga in our dome and more! Comfy Contrasts Glamping Dome

96%
(13)
Dome · Sleeps 5
Simple and elegant, the comfy contrast dome features two full sized beds and couch. Enjoy the view of our beautiful forest below you from the panoramic window of your dome, surrounded by nature. Warm up by the wood stove and stay cozy year round in this insulated geodome. Once you settle in, enjoy over five miles of trails on site, as well as access to hundreds of miles of trails just a mile down the road. Our local rail trail connects to Pachaug State Forest, Carbuncle Pond, Nicholas Farm Management Area and more amazing areas to explore. Once you return, take a hot soak in our outdoor tub (seasonal) as you take in the wildlife of the forest, including our herd of formerly wild mustangs. Please bring a bathing suit as this is a shared area. Feel the sand between your toes and enjoy a yoga class in our large transparent geodome to stretch out and limber up for your next adventure. We also offer arts and craft classes, such as “Paint you Pet” with our resident artist, Jody Whitsell (google her!) as well as crafts like build your own terrarium, painting rocks, working with clay and more. If you’re joining us in July or August, you can forage for your breakfast on our 40 acres of organic wild blueberries, huckleberries and blackberries. This dome is insulated with a wood stove and we have portable power stations that can run lights, charge your phones, or lower energy items. They cannot run bigger appliances like CPAP machines. We may have a larger capacity power station available on request for medical needs but we cannot guarantee that it will be available. Although there is a window and roof vents, there is no air conditioning. There is no refrigerator, so please plan to bring your food in a cooler with ice. ALLERGY DISCLAIMER: we do not issue refunds due to allergies. Please keep in mind this is still camping and you will be out in the woods at an active farm. There are campfires, animals, plants and moisture. Allergies to animals, smoke, pollen, mildew, etc. may be aggravated. Please keep this in mind when deciding to book as we will NOT be able to refund you.

*Please note: This dome is not furnished and has a sand floor, so we recommend bringing blankets or cots to put down below your sleeping bags. For glamping accommodations, please book one of our individual glamping domes* The Terrasphere is our 32’ transparent geodome in the forest. We have yard games and party games as well as a farmhouse table and chairs that seats 8. There is also a projector screen and projector available on request. There is a fire pit and grill at the site, but it is a ten minute walk to the parking lot and toilet/shower, so please plan accordingly.
