Wine wine wine
Stayed there in 2020. There is something great about staying at a vineyard. The ready access to wine is great. We had a wine tasting and then drank way too much wine! The place is a field in front of the vineyard. It has a porta-potty and a fire ring. There is also a picnic table available. There are a few sites. Gary was a good host. There was a couple of guys camping next to us and they played music for us. It was great! A storm had passed recently and the porta potty was sans door. For woman, this was a privacy issue but I made sure I told everyone so they would not go to that side.

An incredible value.
The Chateau is simply stunning and magical. All campsites are along a lovely little creek. You are literally camping on a vineyard. Wish we had time for a wine tasting but will be back soon to try. Gary is the best.

Nope
Basically you’re in a field. With a picnic table. A row of picnic tables next to the woods .If you’re more concerned about being close to town than having any kind of an authentic camping experience, this place is for you. The outhouse door was lying on the ground. The owner knew this.

Private getaway in awesome location
There is a nice little creek flowing through the property that you can camp next to. There are a few spots to camp along the creek. I don't think any of them are bad locations. The winery is a nice addition and there is a large clearing for activities. Gary is also a really lovely, welcoming host. The most unique part of the experience is the location. You are right next to Salmon River State Forrest and this gives you access to lots of hiking trails and swimming holes. The only thing I would fix would be to update the location instructions as it was hard to find the correct campsite at night and I could have used more details in locating it.
