This is a great private quiet and beautiful location and Chris, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. The site is level and sits on a massive trail network, suitable for hiking, and biking and is close to Mystic/Stonington and the many parks, boat launches, docks, museums and great restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back with kayaks/bikes.

Blackburn Farm was a fabulous spot to camp for the night! The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with, clear directions and instructions, and the animals were fun to get to meet.
Absolutely beautiful location, and so convenient to Mystic and I-95. Chris heard that I'm into hiking to waterfalls and suggested a beautiful long walk to the Cascades for the morning. The farm is surrounded by awesome, really well marked Groton Open Space Association trails. Perfect way to start a mild fall day.

What a great place to stay! The location is private, relaxing and quiet. Close to mystic, beaches, state parks and hiking. Christopher and Tiffany were great, very friendly. We will definitely visit their farm again.

We didn't get to stay long and enjoy the area and rained while we were there but Blackburn farm was lovely! Great camping spot, nice trails, got to visit with the farm animals and the host was very friendly and had great recommendations.

It was a wonderful experience for our first time out with our camper. Chris and Tiffany were very helpful, friendly, and delightful hosts. The sheep and goats were fun companions, and we appreciated having a picnic table, fire pit, electricity, and water available to us. The location is ideal. We enjoyed dinner at The Fisherman, one of the places recommended by our hosts, and we loved bringing home fresh veggies from the farm at a very reasonable price. We hope to go back to Blackburn Farm sometime soon.

Camping at Chris’s was great Minutes from downtown and the seaport as well as Abbot’s Lobster.
Goats and sheep are friendly and fun. Easy to get to quiet and the power is a great plus

Second time was even better than the first. It's a lovely setting, love the goats and chickens and fireflies. It feels private, safe, comfortable. This time we ventured out to Mystic and Noank. Chris gave us wonderful recommendations. There are a lot of great things very close by.

This was a great place to camp. We just stayed one night but Christopher was super helpful and had a great property. He showed us all the hook ups, his farm, where hiking trails were, as well as what to do in the area. We wish we had more time to stay here. We would stay again, thanks!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Friendly sheep and goats and a wide variety of chickens are in the barn and field. There are hiking paths through the woods. The property is very well maintained. It is a short 5 minute drive to the town of Mystic with all its attractions! Great restaurants, shops, and the amazing aquarium. Christopher responds to any questions almost immediately and is eager to help with questions or concerns. It is a very private spot with picnic table and fire pit. I highly recommend this Hip Camp and will most certainly be back!

I had a great experience at Chris’s farm. The property is spectacular and the connection to public hiking trails made for some fun exploring. It was conveniently located to explore Mystic and secluded enough for a silent night’s sleep, plus the sheep and goats were adorable. I’ll definitely be returning to Blackburn farm in the warmer months.

Blackburn farm is a fantastic find. Located minutes from everything of interest in Mystic yet wonderfully private. The availability of electrical hookup and water makes this site a very comfortable stay. Having the presence of goats, sheep and chickens makes the stay even more unique.
Chris was welcoming and very helpful and we look forward to returning next season.

Had a wonderful stay on the farm! Chris is a fantastic host who provided great recommendations for the area and helped us setting everything up. The small farm is very lovely - we have been greeted in the morning by the sheep’s and goats and were able to take a hike around the forrest.

This is a great Hipcamp! The woods are beautiful, quiet and private. I loved camping next to the barn with the fainting goats, sheep and chickens. The camp is conveniently located to Mystic and easy to find thanks to Christopher’s videos providing specific directions. Christopher met me at the site and was welcoming and very willing to share his tips for things to see and do. I only wish I was staying longer!

We were very warmely greated by Chris and Tiffany on there small farm and they helped everything set up. Very cosy RV site next to the barn and farm animals. The spot is pretty far from their house and other houses so you get a private camping experience. Our daughter loved the sheep and goats next to the camping site.
The firewood, self grown organic veggies and eggs were an additional bonus on our stay. Thanks again for those!!!!
Hiking trails are just a few minute from the camping site. Mystic centre a couple of minutes drive away.
We could not have wished for a better start of our RV adventure.

This is a fantastic little family farm. It is very peaceful. We had a great time here watching and listening to birds and being surrounded by nature.
There are about 20 miles of trails that start on the property that are great for mountain biking or hiking. The casinos are about 20 minutes away also.

A truly lovely farm with friendly (and adorable) goats, sheep and chickens. Blazed hiking trails are 100 steps from the campsite. Only a 5 minute drive to Historic Mystic and the Seaport Museum. Mystic has developed a great "Foodie" destination with excellent food and cocktails. The farm is quiet and calm at night. Christopher and Tiffany are attentive and caring hosts. We really enjoyed our time on the farm and hope to visit again!

What a wonder experience! Property was peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Campsite was level and perfect with water and electric. Fire ring with cooking grate was a pleasant bonus.
Chris was incredibly helpful and kind. We were able to get fresh eggs right out of the hen house and we purchased tastiest maple syrup that Chris taps right on the property! Highly recommend!! We will definitely be back.

Great little private spot next to barn with sheep, goats and chickens as company. Chris was a great host, checking on us once at the beginning to see we had what we needed and give us a lay of the land.

Ever since we got home, we’ve been wondering if we can go back. Next week. Seriously. It was that good. Chris was a great host and his place is just so perfect. Nature, sweet and funny farm animals, great scenery. We really had downtime and were able to cut off the outside world. There is not one, but two fire pit options so we used them both. It’s a nice level spot with a few parking options and a new picnic table. There are great nature trails right off the property. It was dark at night except for the stars, and there was a motion light that we loved. Chris offered to turn it off if we didn’t like it. There are lots of great things to do and see nearby, and Chris was happy to help if we wanted to explore. It just happens that we wanted to spend time with goats, sheep and chickens. (Please watch the videos on how to find the driveway before you get there. It’s hidden away and we would have passed right by. )

We had the best time!! It was a perfect place for an overnight for the CGA 30th reunion and great proximity to Mystic the host Tiffany and Chris answered all questions and had great communication. Even had a you tube video on how to get to there Hipcamp and where to park. Tiffany took time to show his the goats and sheep. So fun!! Thanks for being such great hosts!!

Nice quiet campsite. Friendly goats and sheep. Water and electric available if you need it. Really nice farm campsite. And Chris gave us some tips on other places to see and camp as we headed north. Plus, it's really close to Mystic and the fabulous Sift bakery there.
