We had a wonderful time at this location! Shawn's location is beautiful, accommodating and wonderful secluded area with lots to do. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Peaceful
The cabin wasn’t hard to find and the hospitality from both Shawn and his neighbors, Brittany and Joe, were very inviting and friendly! The cabin was equipped with all of the necessities for a winter getaway, and the view was just as great and peaceful. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a relaxing weekend at the cabin. It's nice to sit at the patio and look at the horses and hummingbirds. Shawn and Bart are very friendly guys. Weather (seasons) there is changing every fifteen minutes, so be ready!
They have a grill set up, so it's good we brought our food! The only thing I wish we could have stayed longer.

Not exactly roughing it :)
The cabin is amazing... everything we could have hoped for and more! Shawn came by shortly after we arrived to greet us and was very friendly and offered local tips. There was no cell service which we appreciated so we were able to unplug. There is a hiking trail at the end of the road that we'd recommend. The cabin had everything we needed... pots, pans, spices, and all the amenities you'd expect from an Airbnb! Our dog loved it too. I would highly recommend it!

What a great guy
My my oh my, where to begin? Our stay at the cabin could have only been a dream. The view surrounding the cabin was picture perfect in the daylight. The view was equally breath-taking at night. I had never seen so many stars above in my life. I saw a shooting star for the first time ever. I saw THREE!!! Also horsies!
The inside of the cabin was so adorable! We had fun starting a fire, using old notebook paper from school. Very metaphorical. Cute couch. Cool lamp. Slept like a baby. There was a deck of cards to keep us entertained inside as the night came to an end. So much fun! There was also an abundance of books to read before bed. Swimsuit was our personal favorite. Highly recommend. You won't believe what happens in chapter 72!
We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the cabin Shawn. He was very stoic and genuine. He kindly gave us guidance on trails to check out around the area. Thanks, Shawn!

Sean was a great host and the cabin was exactly as it was described he also stopped shortly after we got there just asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything also said he would be around if we needed anything we would definitely go back and I am going to recommend this to a couple of people I know

We’ll be back!
My boyfriend and I stayed on the Welders Ranch in the cabin and had a great time! Absolutely beautiful and good sized cabin for a couple of people. We loved watching the sunsets and enjoying the mornings out on the patio.
We met Colin (Shawns son) the first day and he was very kind and hospitable. The last day we went down to the tack room where they were saddling up the horses to take a group out to ride. Shawn was down there so we were able to say thank you.
Highly recommend staying here if you want to get out of the city (no WiFi, tv, or cell service) which is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back!

The property and horses at the cabin were absolutely stunning. It was a gorgeous valley, very quiet, very private. There were even some delicious wild raspberries growing while we were there. The front porch had gorgeous views of the horses, aspen trees, and lots of hummingbirds.
Shawn gave us directions to take some beautiful back roads home since I-70 was closed.
The cabin itself was less welcoming than I expected for the price. There is a very squeaky full bed and a bunk bed. My tall boyfriend and I couldn't fit on the full so we slept in separate beds. The kitchen had plenty of things to prepare food with, but everything felt like it could use a good cleaning and a coat of paint.
Overall, gorgeous location, but the accommodations felt overpriced for the condition.

I loved this cabin!! Firewood was provided with a full kitchen and fridge and it was just cozy! Firewood was provided and we were not bothered once. Which even if the host were to have come I wouldn't have minded. It's super out in the middle of nowhere but that's what I loved. It was peaceful, calm and everything I would want for a cabin getaway in the mountains. It was a little bit dusty in the cabin but we think that was from the woodburning stove which heated up the cabin perfectly!! And I did have a little hard time with allergies for that reason but something about a hint of fire smell made the cabin even more cozy! I would just recommend bringing Firestarters! But overall I absolutely loved the cabin and the view it was stunning and perfect and I wouldn't mind going back!

Perfect Little Cabin Getaway
This cabin and property was amazing! Just what we needed to get away from town for a long weekend. The place itself is great, simple and comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. The view are amazing and being able to go on a trail ride on the horses was so fun!
Shawn, the owner of the property, was a great host and made us feel very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away!

This is our second time staying at the Welder’s White River cabin. The wild flowers and busy hummingbirds were a new addition. We enjoyed our time so much that we will be back a third time by God’s will.

Our time at the cabin was lovely! Shawn was very welcoming and gave us suggestions for what to do in the area since we didn’t have any service. The cabin was simple and perfect for us, and our dogs loved roaming the property - except for the horse corral of course! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quiet, simple getaway if you’re willing to make drive!

Great and well maintained campsite. We did the tent for two nights and found out about the fire ban when we arrived. Shawn was very accommodating and let use the propane stove and grill which helped make our camp experience so much better! Recommend the horseback riding! Beautiful and secluded which is perfect for our current Covid situation.

Wonderful detox from society
This cabin was absolutely amazing. There were hiking trails right by the cabin and the white river was just across the field. It is a working ranch and our host Stephen was gracious enough to check in on us the first night. Fair warning though, the last stretch of getting there if you’re leaving from Denver is brutal. It’s a gravel road that will take you a while to get through. However, it was nice because we saw sheep and cattle in the road and had to gently encourage them out of the way. Overall I would securely stay again.

Amazing in every way!
WOW! We had the most incredible time at Shawn’s cabin. It was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy a weekend away (with no cell service!!). Shawn was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. His property is STUNNING and we loved waking up to watch the horses every morning from the porch. We spent most of our time hiking in the area and exploring- there was so much to see and all of it was gorgeous! We cooked all of our meals in the cabin (fully functional stove, oven, sink) and Shawn had all of the pots and pans that we needed. We also used the charcoal grill (we brought our own charcoal and left the rest of it there, but you should probably plan on bringing your own). If you’re even considering staying here... DO IT! You’ll feel completely recharged :) Thank you Shawn! - Lindsay, Mike, & Basil the pup!

Selfishly, I want to keep Welder's Outfitters a secret and keep it to myself. This place is incredible. Not sure pictures ever do justice. There are horses, cows and stars galore.
Shawn is a gracious, responsive host. There are options to fish and hike nearby. Highly recommend booking a guided tour on horseback. Would definitely visit again!

Shawn has such a beautiful property! Our group had such a relaxing time. The toilet was very clean and there was a shack for trash. We walked up the trail right by the campsite to the ridge. Absolutely stunning views! I highly recommend this spot.

Beautifully Beautiful
This location, ranch, and cabin were all absolutely amazing. Shawn and his son did a wonderful job hosting and keeping the place nice and cozy. The horseback riding scenery and journey was something that was out of this world. The hikes were so beautiful and peaceful. We even did a little fishing in the pond and had a blast. We are definitely going to come back in the fall to see the scenery change! I highly highly recommend. Thank you Shawn, I appreciated this trip so much!!

The campground and accommodations were great! Exactly as advertised. The land was amazing-extremely private, amazing views, great hikes. We also did horseback riding-the experience was better than I could have imagined. Shawn was an excellent host. I highly recommend!
