Situated on 3+ acres just half a mile from the town of Del Norte and only a few minutes' walk from the Rio Grande, this peaceful retreat offers dazzling sunrises, dark night skies, the soothing sounds of the river and nature, restful sleep before your next adventure, and all the benefits of a charming small town nearby. We offer a custom outdoor composting toilet with thoughtful amenities, a mud-brick cantina where you can relax and store your snacks and beverages, a water station for washing dishes or freshening up, a fire pit (weather and local burn bans permitting), and an organic garden lounge where you can kick back and watch things grow. Firewood provided, firepit, communal. firepit availability is at the discretion of the property owners and subject to local burn bans and weather. we have a fire most evenings around sunset, if it's safe to do so. fires may not be left unattended, and open-fire cooking is not allowed.

On leash. we love critters, but pets are allowed only if they are leashed and well-behaved. pets are not permitted to be kept in vehicles unless they are accompanied by their people.

Spigot, bottled water or jugs. well water is totally safe to drink although there may be a slight iron taste, but fresh drinking water is available in the cantina as well.

Compost bin, recycling bin, trash bin. we compost!
Cooking equipment present
Grill over firepit, bbq, communal, sink or other dishwashing station. cantina includes fresh drinking water, coolers, air fryer, cutting board, can opener, bottle opener, power strip for charging devices or using your own camping appliances.
