Andrew’s place was wonderful! He provided helpful driving directions and instructions about the place. The yurt was very comfortable and had everything we needed — plenty of blankets, fire wood, board games, and a composting toilet. We can’t wait but I stay here again!

Perfect getaway from the city. Andrew was a great host and super responsive/helpful! Yurt is extremely well equipped and clean, and the wood burning stove is amazing in the winter. Definitely coming back!!

The Yurt is fantastic and we would absolutely recommend. Really perfect for a night or two away from the city. And a great option for a winter glamping experience!
Highlights include:
Location. Super accessible from Denver/Boulder but feels totally secluded.
Wood burning stove. We cooked dinner over the stove which was a fun and relaxing activity and the stove produced plenty of heat to keep us warm through a January night. We came home obsessed with the stove and researching one for our own home!
The host. Andrew provided us with excellent directions and instructions for everything and was super timely in his responses.

We loved our stay at Andrew’s yurt! He was communicative and hospitable leading up to the stay and made sure everything we could need was already in place. The property is beautiful and quiet, the yurt itself was impressive and cozy! We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Andrew was so responsive to questions and provided a lot of detailed information about directions to the hut, use of the stove, etc that made the trip super easy. Great proximity to Indian Peaks Wilderness, Caribou Ranch Open Space for outdoor activities, and not a bad drive to Nederland for food and other activities. Yurt itself is beautiful and so relaxing; we will definitely be back!

An Excellent Yurt
I thought the yurt was comfy even in the cold conditions. Everything was great except there’s not a place to pee (other than outdoors) and there’s not great places to walk around the property. My wife and I enjoyed our time there though. The yurt was beautiful and fun. Andrew, the host, was super friendly and kept in close contact with us.

Perfect yurt experience
Amazing time at Andrew’s yurt! First time in a yurt and we loved it. If you want camping vibes without dealing with a tent yourself and want more comforts, this is perfect. The queen bed and pillows were some of the best I’ve ever experienced in a rental. The yurt has a furnace to keep it warm and great table for eating and shelving. There’s a toilet and tables and chairs outside. A great spot!

It was wonderful. I always wanted to stay in a yurt and I was not disappointed. It's a very private and peaceful place with fun things to check out around the area like an old jeep. Beautiful hiking nearby. We highly recommend this place.

Great artist's retreat
I absolutely needed the getaway to Andrew’s yurt. All of last week, even with 8 hours of sleep I was feeling exhausted and unmotivated. But after one night at the yurt, watching the sunset, hiking, star gazing and catching the sunrise… I have so much renewed energy and motivation. It’s a beautiful property and I caught a few animal sightings. Would definitely return.

Quirky and Quiet
The property is great and the hut is nice, clean and cozy. The old army truck and boat add some cool aspects to explore along with its beauty. The Ceran Saint Verain hiking trail is also just down the road which provided a nice easy hike along a river. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. Would definitely return!

Great for outdoorsy honeymooners
Andrew was great! He left tons of directions. The yurt is super cool, the directions were clear, exploring the location was super fun! He left chopped wood for us, which was super nice and helpful. We loved that there were some games and books left there for visitors, and it is nice that the bathroom is enclosed. Overall, it was a really magical experience and we will definitely visit again if we are ever in the area.

A beautiful forest mountain getaway

We my husband and two teenagers and dog loved our time at the yurt! The yurt is great with nice bedding cool decor and games. The location is secluded and boarders national forest service land. Lots to explore. It feels really secluded but the yurt is set close to the one neighbor who we met and is lovely. There are lots of random things on the property.. a sailboat, army truck, and random piles.. my kids liked checking stuff out. My husband felt like he wanted to tidy up. There is now an outbuilding with a rustic composting toilet with toilet paper provided. The yurt had solar lights that worked great. We had text ability in the yurt. We drove to Nederland 30 minutes away. And enjoyed Ceran Saint Vrain River (10 mins) . So nice to have a place waiting for us in the mountains and it made for an easy two days of outdoor fun!
