"The most incredible views in Colorado" Perched on the edge of a 2,000 ft canyon, surrounded by an aspen grove and jagged peaks, there is no equal. In the beautiful Aspen grove and next to the ridge with canyon and mountain views. This is probably one of the most beautiful camp sites in all of Colorado. Hike on the property, especially the Ridge Hike" that goes along the ridge, featuring rock outcroppings and jaw-dropping views. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids camped out on the property before and after he robbed his first bank, which is still located in Telluride. This is where the name comes from. Please clean up after your pet and yourself. If there is dog or human waste of any kind of trash left behind, there will be a fee added to your reservation. Help keep the place pristine 😊

    Great views, great stay!
    The views from the Sundance ridge were absolutely stunning and the area was very nice and quiet. There is also great access to Telluride and Ouray, a short drive away. On top of that Jared is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely go again should the occasion arise!

    Amazing site with breathtaking views. Truly exceeded expectations as views are top notch and super private camping experience. We had a 2wd camper van and couldn’t make it all the way up to the top with recent rain so camped near the entrance.

    The Sundance Ridge - Telluride
    I loved camping on the beautiful ridge with the view of the snowcapped mountains and waking up to the sunrise over the mountain range to the east. The only sounds were those of the birds and chipmunks. It was very tranquil. Jared gave excellent recommendations for beautiful hikes to do in Telluride (albeit challenging) and gladly answered all of my inquiries. Would stay here again!

    Beautiful spot. Camped here for the duration of Mountain Film Festival 2024 in Telluride. Favorite part of my stay was drinking instant coffee at sunrise on the hill above the loop at the end of the driveway. Will be back.

    Camping with Views and Wildlife!
    We had a great time Camping at Jared’s place at Sundance Ridge. The perfect place to have a remote campsite. Very close to Telluride and Ouray. Extremely private and remote. Amazing views and hiking on the property. We will definitely be back again!

    Sundance Ridge is all that's advertised and much more. Stunning views in all directions including sunrise and sunset. It is so rare to find your own private camping spot in such a magical location! We set up our tent in the golden aspen grove, hiked around in awe of the ridge line views, and had a cozy campfire. The night was so quiet, and we woke up in the morning not wanting to leave. Jared is a great host and we want to thank him for sharing this little piece of heaven.
