We loved our stay at The Milky Way Cabin for a quiet Thanksgiving getaway! In fact, there was a new moon and we were definitely in the height of stars!! Raemi is a wonderful host and has great taste in her tiny home design. We enjoyed new snow and sat on the deck in the morning sun drinking coffee and watching the wildlife saunter through the property. We also enjoyed taking walks along the roads around the property and met nice neighbors along the way. The website has all the info you need to operate the solar and generator and other systems at the house. Advice…Take the time to learn and understand the systems and your stay will be easier. The internet is lightning fast if that is something you need/like. We enjoyed visiting the Evergreen Station (Clover Custom Crafts is part of the building and Ardell is the owner and she carries local artisans goods) just south of Florissant and driving into Cripple Creek and Victor. Rita The Rock Pusher Troll is an absolute “must see” in Victor. Lovely property and overall excellent experience!!

Amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, yet quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful touches like in decorations, local recommendations and anything we might need in the kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!!

Raemi’s tiny cabin was the perfect getaway for my wife and I and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The cabin itself is extremely cozy and comfortable, totally welcoming, and sits on a beautiful piece of property surrounded by aspen trees. The location is ideal as well, we felt secluded and enjoyed all the peace we were searching for but the cabin was still easily accessible and conveniently located roughly 30min from the town of Florissant. Our stay took place in late October and we experienced just about every kind of weather Colorado has to offer throughout our time at the cabin; snow on our first night, rain the next morning, and sunshine & blue skies to round out the trip. Regardless of the weather, we felt warm and safe the entire time. All the off grid systems in the cabin were easy to use and offered some of the nice conveniences of home while still feeling like camping. One of our favorite features was the large porch with comfortable furniture and gas fire pit, even with some of the colder temps we were still able to enjoy the outdoors well into the evening without being uncomfortable. Overall, Raemi’s property was exactly what we were looking for and we’re already planning to book another (longer) stay as soon as we can. Highly recommend!

This place was AMAZING. it had everything we needed to feel like we were camping with the luxury of having a tiny house to stay in. The fire pit was an amazing spot to hang out and all of the aspen trees were beautiful. It was private and secluded. At night we used the porch to have a fire and relax while listening to some music. It was a rainy weekend so the cloud cover made it hard to see any stars but no doubt we will be back for those Milky Way views. If you’re thinking about staying here DO IT! You won’t regret it.

What a unique and luxurious experience in nature! We stayed 3 nights at the end of September and wished we could stay longer (forever maybe?). Raemi's land was a dream. The tiny house is adorable and outfitted with everything you could ever ask for. We found the water and compost systems to be easy to operate. The land is surrounded by aspen groves (my favorite tree) which were the most beautiful shade of gold this time of year. We saw deer, birds, and chipmunks. The amenities were wonderful. We grilled out and lounged on the patio sofa and hammock. Nearby, we visited Eleven Mile Resevoir (saw a bunch of wild burros!), the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Resue (HIGHLY recommend) , the Florissant Fossil Beds, and an amazing restaurant called Iron Tree in Florissant. There is plently to explore near Florissant as far as hiking and sightseeing go, but honestly, we enjoyed relaxing among the aspens the most. It was such a gift to get away to this quiet and cozy little corner of Colorado. We highly recommend going in the fall, it was heavenly. We will definitely be back very soon!

"The best thing I did was discovering this place, and the only mistake was booking only one day. Upon arrival, I found a true vacation, free from all routines, and I enjoyed a stunning starry shower at night, which brought back memories of long-forgotten romance. I left with the anticipation of my next visit, but with a sense of regret. My wife told me, 'Thank you so much for bringing me here, I had a great time and we should definitely come back.' I agree, and I can't wait to return."

My fiancé and I planned a little birthday get away. The Milky Cabin was perfect- so peaceful and beautiful. Raemi thought of everything- a gas fire pit, flashlights, blankets, and literally everything we needed. The place was stunning and so well crafted. I would highly recommend.

Raemi's tiny house was well thought out and cared for. You get all the comforts of home while staying in the mountains. Raemi communicated well and things are labeled so you don't have to waste time figuring it out yourself. It is easy to get to Eleven Mile Res. Hanging out at the property was quiet and relaxing. Little to no traffic from the neighbors. Stars were amazing! We saw lots of animals during our stay. Would definitely go back!

Raemi’s land was the best glamping experience I could ask for. If you’re looking for camping with a little extra, the Milky Way cabin will be perfect! I will have to say if you’re looking for an Air BnB this is not the place for you. There are many things that you must be aware of such as water, waste, and real camping experiences. There are many things of use to the public such as dishes, appliances, extra blankets, etc… but make sure you bring your own sheets, food, water, and towels. I recommend checking out the 11 mile canyon and renting out the paddle board, it is well worth it.. just make sure to check the weather before heading out. On that note the Milky Way cabin has great Wifi, so no need to worry about service. Make sure you load up directions to anywhere you may be headed to, or before you leave the cabin. Just to add on, the public water station Raemi mentions in the listing was closed my entire trip, but there is another public water station just 10 mins down the road in Divide from the Florissant station. Make sure you bring your own water cans and a hose, the Divide station is cash, not coins! As long as you watch your water waste 20 gallons of water was perfect my bf and I to do dishes, showers, and basic needs. Raemi was also very responsive and answered all my questions with in minutes. I highly recommend Raemi’s land, it’s beautiful and peaceful, one of the best experiences I’ve had!

This tiny home was extremely impressive. From the amenities, interior design, clean interior, views, etc. The host Raemi is very communicative and provides a website with all the instructions that explain how the off grid tiny home works. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is slightly interested. I was very pleased to see all the kitchenware that was provided. Lastly the deck and the fire pit is where we spent a lot of time and truly enjoyed it.

I had a lovely stay at the tiny home. I enjoyed lounging in the hammock and watching the all the hummingbirds along with stargazing at night. I hope to return again someday soon!

Loved our stay in this super instagrammable tiny home. The stars at night were absolutely unbelievable. My favorite place to hang out was in the hammock with a book and a beverage in hand, while my husband sweetly made dinner in the small kitchen nearby. So quiet out there and the aspen grove and nosy neighbor horses really added to our stay. We loved how remote it was yet we could easily use our all-wheel sedan to get there as the dirt roads were mostly well cared for. Will definitely stay here again someday if we are in the area! Check out Eleven Mile and Mueller State Parks nearby!

This is probably one of the most amazing places to stay on this app- the host is thorough with the logistics of everything.
Absolutely amazing getaway!!! Can’t wait to come again and pin an astrological event on the calendar!
Side notes for other guest:
-the toilet is compost so be SURE to empty the calendar pot FAR from the house before leaving or multiple times if you’re having an extended stay
-The energy is solar but be sure to unplug everything before leaving to make sure there’s no slight drain
-Keep the water tank AT THE FILL LINE- if it gets below you won’t have running water for the rest of your trip

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy tiny home in Florissant, Colorado! The place was a perfect blend of home comforts and camping vibes, nestled among beautiful Aspen trees that must look absolutely stunning in the fall. It's quite remote, which we loved because it offered lots of wildlife sightings right from our doorstep.
The kitchen was fantastic for cooking, equipped with everything we needed, and the overall size of the home was just right, providing a warm, inviting atmosphere. We also went paddleboarding on Eleven Mile Reservoir, which was only a 40-minute drive away—a fantastic and easily accessible day trip.
Having two TVs in the home was a great touch, allowing us to unwind with a movie at night, and the Starlink Wi-Fi was impressively reliable for such a secluded location. This tiny home is truly a hidden gem for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in nature. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Milky Way Cabin, and it was a delightful experience that perfectly blended rustic charm with modern comforts.
The cabin’s location under a canopy of aspens provided a serene and picturesque setting. It was the perfect set up for me as I was escaping in order to write and design graphics for an upcoming project. It was also great for relaxing and disconnecting from the hustle of daily life. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the porch every morning with a cup of coffee while being greeted by a woodpecker and family of blue birds.
Inside, the cabin is well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Do take note that they have no well, so you have to bring in your own water, but the tank is plenty big and if filled according to Raemi’s notes you’ll be just fine. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking. Also, for those wondering, the WIFI is amazing and I never had an issue. It was actually faster than what I have at home.
The main highlight of my stay was stargazing in the evenings. It truly felt like you had a front row seat to our amazing galaxy. It can be a little chilly in the evening so grab a blanket or turn on the fireplace.
The Milky Way Cabin is a unique and charming escape. Whether you're lounging in the loft, enjoying the serenity or exploring nearby 11 Mile reservoir, this place has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful getaway! If you want to experience off-grid tiny house living, this is the place! The bed was comfy, and there’s a second loft for kids, watching movies, or listening to records.
Lots of windows to bring in the view of the alder forest. We brought sleeping bags to lay out on the big deck and watched the Milky Way for hours! Don’t forget to bring carrots or apples (or both) for the herd of horses that roam the meadow. Eleven Mile Canyon is nearby and stunning. Raemi was super helpful and welcoming. This is a very special place and we look forward to returning.

Highly recommend this spot! It felt so homey, although it’s a tiny home it feels like there is so much space! Really enjoyed Sitting by the fire, watching the stars & the fact Raemi has a telescope on property made it even better. Having deer & horses visit us while on the porch was a pleasant surprise as well! Raemi was easy to communicate with & made sure we felt at home.

I wanted to find some time for myself away from the crowds while still being in touch with civilization and this place was perfect for that. The aspen trees around the house provide a sense of privacy and makes it feel secluded from the roads. The house itself is quite cozy and has all the things you need to feel at home. The dining table was perfect for writing and journaling my thoughts while listening to Bob Dylan on vinyl. Sitting by the propane fire pit and enjoying the night skies from the porch was extremely therapeutic.
