The Last Resort on the River is a small and quiet RV park on the Blanco River off Highway 84 between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We have 23 full hook-up sites, 6 partial riverside sites for smaller units with electric and water only, and tent sites that sit on the river. Our end goal is to have cabins but they are not a reality yet. Firewood is available for purchase as are shower tokens for showers. The bathhouse has separate men’s and women’s showers/restrooms along with a washer and dryer.

Our tent sites sit right on the Blanco River and all have fire rings and picnic tables. All tent site rates include use of the bathhouse and restroom areas. We are currently clearing the sites so an easier access to the river is allowed. The tent sites are located further away from the bathhouse. One tent per site. If your party wants/needs 2 tents you must reserve a second tent site. No exceptions.

Our Riverside Sites are a grouping of 6 back in sites that sit on the Blanco River. These sites are restricted to units 25′ and smaller. All sites have 30 amp and seasonal water (typically mid-April through October). Picnic tables available for all sites and portable fire pits can be requested at no charge.

We’re very excited to offer large pull through sites for our larger units. Each site has 30 and 50 amp electric, water and septic. Every site has a picnic table and portable fire pit. Firewood available for purchase by the bundle at the Camp Store. WiFi available on property.

The RV Circle is the original park with 15 full hook-up sites. All sites have 30 and 50 amp as well as water and sewer. Most sites have plenty of shade from well established tress but spaces are a bit tighter than the new pull-thru sites.

Great place to stay. The location along the Rio Blanco is serene. The owner, Rich, couldn't have been more accommodating. And the stars Thursday night were jaw dropping. We plan on returning.

Rich was kind and accommodating! The camp was clean and felt close to nature, and fairy close to both Pagosa and Chama. We will certainly keep this on our list of places to stay in So Colorado!

We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds the hospitality and the location was perfect for what we were doing in Pagosa. The only issue I had was there’s only one shower one bathroom for a lot of peopl. I would definitely go there again. It’s a little pricey, but worth the money. Oh by the way, make sure you bring money for the shower. Lol

We arrived late and checked out early. A quick overnight on our journey. So we didn’t get a chance to experience everything. I can say the host was wonderful. Walked us to our site. Explained everything about the grounds. They seem to have everything you could need. We backed our van to within 15 feet of a running creek. Nice. Beautiful location, not far from Pagosa Springs (10 miles ish). Would definitely return when in the area. Thanks!

The Last Resort on the River was wonderful! The bathrooms are clean, the skies are dark, the traffic noise is negligible at night, and if you’re a digital nomad, the WiFi is great, especially in the riverside sites 5 & 6. You won’t be sorry you stayed here!

This property felt very safe & relaxing. Host was helpful & kind. Amenities were clean & well thought out. Great proximity to Pagosa Springs, too! The walking path along the river was lovely, and the property cats & bunnies added charm.
