Sugar Magnolia Cottage
A little rough around the edges.
Kristy was super kind and friendly. Took us on a tour of her farm and had her daughter take us to visit the goats a second day. Recommended us to a state park in the area which was truly a great outing.
The rental was okay. The a/c wasn't working at all, so it got super hot in there. We had to buy cleaning supplies as the bathroom was dirty, had no wash cloths. The floors were covered in dirt and sand throughout the house, so had to sweep up when we first got there. The house smelled like cigarette smoke and the couch like cat pee.
We worked around all these things and still had a great time, but was bummed spending dollars plus a cleaning fee when we had to clean when we arrived. We found socks, undergarments and trash throughout the house. One of the comforters had a bad smell to it as well.
It is a great little place to rent if maintained for guests. My son wanted to buy it... 😁
The kitchen was sparse in supplies to use to make a meal...found ways to improvise.
The yard around the rental was very tall with weeds and lots of wasps around as you maneuvered to the pool.
We had a great time as a family, and again Kristy was kind. Its just hard to spend so much money on something that didn't feel cleaned.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kristy's cottage. It was well equipped. The hospitality of Kristy and her family was amazing. We would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend staying here!

Camping in the Great outdoors😘
We were met by Kristy and her daughters and we were instantly blessed! Made to feel at home! The tour included animals, and places we could use, and a place option to set up our tent!
We asked about a fishing hole and were guided to a fun little pond!
We enjoyed our stay so much my children want to back every week end till school start!😂. Quiet evening swim watching the sun set!

Sugar Magnolia Farm Campsite - 388c
Kristy was really flexible and understanding with me arriving super late, and she still came out to greet me and even offered to help me set up my tent. The stay was great and it's nice having bathroom/shower/kitchen access.

Sugar Magnolia Cottage
The view outside the dining area at night was peaceful and beautiful. The place is right next to their house but we had all our own privacy and comfort. I didn't want to go home back to the city. We definitely will be back.

Wonderful relaxing stay. The host was very welcoming and gave a great tour perfect for children. The only drawback was the ac didn't work properly but it wasn't a huge issue at the time.
