5 acres of trees up on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains, including the 14er peak, Mount Sneffels. Only 5 miles from the small mountain town of Ridgway, Colorado and only 30 miles from the famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Friendly hosts willing to offer great advice about how to explore the area. The mountain views from the property makes you imagine you are in Nepal looking at one of the Himalayan Peaks!Park your van or car (there is a space for tent not far from the parking spot…note: must be totally self contained, toilet, etc). Walk 50 yards from your spot and set up your chairs and enjoy the sense of being in the wild and viewing the Rockies where Mount Sneffels is the showpiece. You can easily imagine you in Nepal viewing the Mountains. You are only a short drive away from Orvis Hot Springs, Ouray Hot Springs, and 30 minutes from downtown Telluride, Colorado.

Spectacular Mountain Getway

Terra’s camping site was great! It was secluded and had a beautiful view of the mountains! The stars at night were amazing! Terra was easy to communicate with and met us at the site which made it easy to get settled in. Thank you Terra!

Terra and her land were amazing! Terra met us when we got there to make sure we found our spot. There, we found a spot with an amazing view of the mountains. Would definitely stay again!

Serenaded by the elk

We had a great overnight stay. We loved listening to the elk from across the road through the evening. A great place to stay if your looking in this area.

Perfect couple of days.

Incredible relaxing experience with great access to town, awesome hikes, and the San Juans. Terra is such a wonderful host and I can’t wait to return!!

My buddy had a great experience at Terra’s place. Pics do not do the view justice. We took our showers and had our ‘constitutionals’ at the springs. More than two nights may have been pushing it that way.

Spectacular Mountain Getway

“Spectacular” is an understatement! Terra has carved out a little slice of heaven to share with those of us fortunate enough to find her. The view from the shaded clearing she has created, took my breath away. Was a perfect site for our 19’ van and chair set up. Terra was great/super responsive with our mid-week, same day request - we feel we lucked into its availability (would have stayed an extra day, had it been available;). Terra met us upon arrival, showed us the site and offered help re: area hikes, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
