We now offer disc golf to our guests for a $5 fee per person, course open in the morning to our guests and afternoons to public, ask about this when you check in. Propane fire rings and gas tanks available for rent. Welcome to Serenity in the Foothills. Located an hour west of Denver, this 3600 acre ranch features 12 spaced out campsites that offer quite a bit of privacy. There are tons of trails/ roads to hike and bike around on, as well as many amazing views. Resort Valley Ranch was combined from around 15 homesteads by the Corbin family. You will see lots of relics and evidence related to those homesteads across our property! Please do not disturb any artifacts or relics on our property, we are very conservation minded with the history as well as the natural beauty of the area. Come enjoy this hidden private jewel in the pines of Jefferson County, Colorado! We want to ensure your vehicle and trailer won't get damaged while commuting to your campsite. Please read about our campsites and make sure the one you pick works for your car/trailer. -NO fifth wheels (ALL sites). -Maximum length of trailers is 22ft(Select campsites) -Trailers must have adequate clearance: 8 inches or higher with no low hanging plumbing. -Sites 1, 2 : 4WD/ SUV- Short camper trailers only (12 foot max) -Sites 3 and 7 : 4WD/SUV vehicles only -Sites 4-12(excluding sites 7 and 11): 4WD/SUV with good clearance are recommended as well as trailers (22 foot max) -Site 11 : 4WD vehicles only. If your trailer is bigger than 22 feet, our sister camp-site Resort Valley Ranch may be able to accommodate you. (Also located on Hipcamp) **When booking, please include basic information about your car/ trailer clearance to ensure that your campsite you've selected will accommodate it!**

Lovely secluded spot with filtered light and just a short drive from Denver! Site 1 definitely needs clearance on the drive up, we barely made it with our popup, but a very nice stay if you can make it!

I tent camped here and it was a very nice and peaceful stay. Secluded, but as a solo female camper with my dog I still felt safe. Would recommend and hopefully can stay here again!

We loved our time camping at Serenity in the Foothills. It’s absolutely gorgeous here and so peaceful. Jeff is super to work with. His directions to his place are super clear and the map he provides when you check in makes finding your campsite easy. They are all well marked on the property. You’ll definitely feel like you’re out in the mountains when you stay here. Gorgeous!

Do I really want to tell everyone about this place? Selfishly, no, but for the sake of this great host... Fantastic! The hundreds of other glowing reviews say it all really. Not another soul or sound but the birds and breeze during our stay at secluded site 9. Jeff was awesome! If you can camp 'unplugged', this is SO much better than a crowded campground or trying to scramble to find an open dispersed spot. We cant wait to come back and will probably become 'regulars' :-) * To any newcomers, just a couple notes: - arrive WELL before dark as it is still a couple slow miles out to the sites from the office - know that on the way to Jeff's sites, you will pass a few sites that belong to another hipcamp; these understandably aren't on Jeff's map he provides, but we got pretty confused when we reached the first one (they are marked differently as "Resort Valley"). Just keep going and watch for the green/white "Serenity" signs - as Jeff told us to do, but we still got confused when we saw "RV1". 😜 - don't get concerned when driving by the neighbors/residences near the office of these working ranches, as there are a lot of old cars, equipment and 'stuff' around (which my husband and I love to check out for 'treasures' as we drive by, but may look like 'junk' to other eyes), but once you get past them the property is very clean, uncluttered and well kept. Site 8 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
Lovely private high gladed meadow setting. No convenient bathroom or porta potty so bear that in mind. Excellent primitive camping. We liked site 8 but passed others we might have preferred. No complaints tho. It was great.

We had an amazing weekend. The site was perfect for us. We did not see a single soul the entire trip besides Geoff at the beginning and at the end. Jeff was a perfect host and I really appreciated his help. We were also able to try out the disc golf course, which was challenging and fun!

Gorgeous and remote! The only manmade noise I heard was jetliners overhead. It was a wonderful place to primitive camp.

Great time camping at site 3! We loved how remote it was, while just being an hour+ from Denver, and the great tree cover. Jeff was super communicative and we appreciated the ability to rent a great fire ring and propane tank since there is a fire ban. highly recommend!

We loved that we were out in the middle of nature. Each camp site was nicely spaced so we weren’t disturbed by anyone. I was a little worried I wouldn’t find it but I drove straight there. It was a lovely place to stay.

Easy to get to. Our spot had nobody near us and lots of trees. It was super quiet and peaceful. The site was clean as was the porta potty nearby. Will definitely be back as this is an easy drive from home but feels like it's far from the city.

So secluded and a perfect place to acclimate our new rescue dog to the mountains. Didn’t see another person the entirety of Labor Day weekend until we left and drove by other campsites. The fire pit rental was incredibly convenient too given the fire bans. We will be keeping this site in our back pocket for close to the city camping. The peace of mind of not having to hunt for a dispersed site was beyond worth it.
