Really have some mixed feelings on this one.... I struggle to recommend it as is currently, however I don't think its worth a bad review either. The view was beautiful and has potential. However I had 2 issues with this site. The first was the arrival instructions. They were VERY wrong, which sent us down some tricky situations with a trailer. Even after talking with the host, it was not very clear where to go, and they needed to come out after another phone call. Secondly I feel presentation was a bit rough. Part of the struggle with finding the correct place was everything was rather overgrown, including the path to get to the site, and the camp site itself. If the campsite was better upkept, and the arrival instructions were correct, I would recommend this to those who want a quite place in the area with a great view.

Great views. Could use some more grading to make pads flatter and turnaround easier and a couple of signs to find it. We spotted the blue water hydrant to locate it

This place was the best. It was a great place for our last minute camping trip. The land was beautiful and so relaxing!! Julie was so kind and the spots were great. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay overall, but it wasn't as secluded as expected from the listing. It was close to 285 and near a house and tiny home, with the neighboring RV spot right next door. But it was quiet overall with some nice mountain views. We also appreciated the hookups and being able to bring our dogs.

We had a nice time staying at Sangre Vista. There was one other RV there at the same time, which helped us find the site. The hosts are pleasant and helpful. It was great having water and electricity. It’s about 20 minutes into Poncha Springs and a little further into Salida. We went and soaked at Mt Princeton hot springs. There were a bunch of wildflowers in bloom and we really enjoyed getting out of the city. We didn’t have a signal at the campsite but in town we had a strong signal. We’ll probably visit again.
