This RV space is located in a quiet neighborhood just 1 mile north of Vallecito Lake, Colorado, in the San Juan National Forest. The gravel RV space has easy access to County Road 501. This RV space is easy to access. It has full hookups: 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Wifi is included (and it’s good for streaming!). Dogs are welcome with prior approval. No camping tents, RVs and campers only. The quiet Decker Park neighborhood is just 1 mile north of Vallecito Lake. Most residents are aged 50+. This is a kid-friendly neighborhood. Features include: One mile north of Vallecito Lake. Walking distance to Vallecito Creek (fishing opportunities!), restaurants, shops & marina just minutes away, firepit (available when fire restrictions allow) Local attractions include boating, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, ziplining, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and just about everything you need to have an authentic Colorado experience. CAMPFIRES: Portable fire pits, charcoal and propane grills are permitted when fire restrictions allow. Lisa is so accommodating!! My only regret is not having the time to get to know her better!!! She was very helpful and had great information for us. I will definitely stay here again. She satisfied every need I had and watched over my rig while I was in the high country. Very pleasant place to park.

The site was off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood, it was easily accessible with full hookups. Lisa was very friendly and accommodating. If I’m ever back this way this is where I’ll stay.

Great, quiet area. Went biking with the kids. Great country stores and all along a beautiful lake and creek. Neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood is wonderful.

Quiet place with full hookups

A good gravel road led to the location which was easy to find using the address (and seeing the red pavers). The site was plenty large and grassy and the brick patio was a plus. It had electric, water and sewer available. We did not use her internet, as our Verizon came in well. Lisa was quick to respond to questions that we had. It was a quiet site to stay at, and if in the area we would consider it again!

Lisa's place is absolutely lovely! Located in a quiet little eclectic community, she and her neighbors were so friendly; while at the same time respectful of our privacy/distance. The surrounding mountains and flora/fauna provided much needed escape! The boat rental at the Marina was easy, as was horseback riding. There are many beautiful trails for hikers only or hikers/horses, so we never felt overrun by ATVs. The location is central to Durango/Silverton, Pagosa Springs, and Ignacio. Bayfield has a nice little Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Meals at the two restaurants on Vallecito Lake were delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay here on the north end of Vallecito Lake. The spot was exactly as described and check-in was super easy. The spot is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with Vallecito Creek running through it. Overall, a great week exploring the area with a couple of side trips to Durango.

Nice quiet neighborhood setting with roads to bike on. Tall Pine Trees that whisper in the wind. A creek nearby you can walk to.

We used this as a basecamp spot to hike the San Juans for a week and get in some 14ers. It was myself, my boyfriend and our dog in a truck camper. Lisa was a superb host and answered all my texts and questions quickly. She met us briefly on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. The spot was safe and quiet with everything we needed. The views of the stars at night were lovely and the neighborhood bunnies kept us entertained. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone. It was a fantastic experience for us!
