The first time I saw this beautiful heavily wooded 12-acre property, I immediately put in an offer. That was 18 years ago. I spent the next 11 years chasing corporate goals which I finally realized were inconsistent with my soul. I started a family and decided to sell this property. I brought my then 2 year old daughter here so she could see it once before I sold it. As we drove up highway 285 through vistas each more stunning than the last, I was moved to tears by the beauty. By the time we reached the property, I knew that we would be moving back here. Nearly 3 years later, we finally moved back with 3 dogs and 2 cats in tow. We love it here and truly belong in this place we call home. Part of the former Ute tribe summer hunting area, and backing to the Pike National Forest and Lost Creek Wilderness; this fascinating area is both beautiful and full of things to do. The cabin is furnished with many of the pieces from the Lost Creek Cabin Studio and features solar electricity and indoor camp toilet facilities. Fresh water is provided. The artist's retreat is a luxury glamping cabin. As long as there is no fire ban, you are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the outdoor fireplace. We require guests to diligently tend their fire and completely extinguish the campfire when guests are not near. There is firewood to gather on the property and we have firewood for purchase as well. We do not allow guests to bring in firewood as the area has begun to see invasive species of insects and we do not want to contribute to this potentially devastating situation.

Rustic Elegant Wooded Tree Cabin

We loved staying at this cabin! Deborah met us at the campsite and after giving a quick tour, we easily made ourselves at “home”. It was the perfect amount of space for two adults and a dog. It ended up raining the entire night but the cabin kept us dry and warm. The rain sounded tranquil against the cabin roof. It was such a perfect getaway from Denver. Deborah was an amazing host and I have so much respect for her craftsmanship and attention to detail!

Rustic Elegant Wooded Tree Cabin

A lovely stay

My husband and I had a great stay. The miniature cabin and seating area with fire pit and decor was whimsical. Deborah was very kind and informative. Although her home was next door, we still felt secluded in the woods and it was very peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the “toilet” clean. Recommendations to make the stay even better would be to put a tarp above the seating area and expand the sleeping area for the monies spent. All in all, I would highly recommend and would be happy to stay again. Thank you, Deborah.

Secluded Rustic Glam Artist's Cabin

Great spot!!!!

We loved this place! Deborah was so helpful giving his the rundown of the tiny home when we arrived. Great fishing just 5 mins away, has a grill and a fire ring (if burn ban is active), and amazing views. 100% would come back, I think it would be even better in winter. The tiny home was comfortable and we fit two large cots in the downstairs in addition to the upstairs bedroom that can easily fit two people. Thanks Deb!!!

My wife and I enjoyed relaxing at the site and using the amenities already there like the fire pit and stove. Great location for an evening walk in the national forest to catch a sunset. Good site for 2!
