Imagine waking up to the sight of elk or mule deer casually grazing nearby while red-tailed hawks cruise the skies. It’s super chill and ideal for anyone who loves wildlife. But that’s just the start—you're also a quick drive from Durango’s cool local scene and all the hiking, biking, and exploring the San Juan Mountains have to offer. Spend your days hitting the trails, rafting the river, or checking out Durango’s breweries and cafes, then come back to relax by your campfire under the stars. A real gem!

Scenic RV Spot near the river

This is a beautiful property and the hosts are very kind. We had great views of the river and mountains. There are 2 dogs and a cat that live on the property, they mostly keep to themselves and are all very friendly and add to the natural ambiance of the property. There is an amazing walking path along the river. The hosts were in the process of setting up some very nice glamping tents on wood platforms. Keep an eye out for those when they become available because those would make for a wonderful peaceful stay.

Riverside meadow w/ mountain views

Megan's meadow was lovely and the firepit, stone seats and well stocked firewood was such a blessing! We had a fantastic couple of nights.
