Our place is private and vast! Beautiful mountains 360 views in every direction! The celestial activity is amazing without city lights too:) We have a nice bar and restaurant only a mile away, "The Forks Mercantile and Saloon!" We also offer farm-to-table items, so just ask! NO toilets or showers are provided! Self contained vehicles only. We do have an artesian well to fill with. RV PARKING: 4 sites! Sites 1, 2 and 4 allow pets and kids. Water hook ups in site 4. Site 5 has shade from 6:30 pm on., but can only be booked without kids or pets. Yes, you can group 1-2 for larger bookings. All sites are 75 yards or more apart! Each site has a table, fire-pit, and chairs. All rigs welcome! (No showers or toilets.) We are strict on arrival time, please be here before 8:00PM no later. 4:00, no earlier. We will not place you after dark on our land. Check out is before 10 a.m. You can book a fishing tour with professional guides down the Poudre, or simply just set up on our property. You can also visit two horseback-riding stables close by if you want a trail ride. Yes, we have waterfalls 3 miles down the road. All info provided when you arrive and meet. We’ll have a packet with lots of info for you upon arrival. We love to share our land, the wildlife and birds are beautiful each day! Our hope is that at the end of the day, your hands and feet should be dirty, your hair a royal mess, and your soul singing!This site is very private and spacious and perfect for dogs and kids. There’s just a few yards you have to walk to get to the dog walking area. NO tent or car camping please. It also has a picnic table, chairs, and fire pit. There is a community corn hole board near it with a swing. Be self-contained or bring your own lugaloo. No facilities provided! There is no shade—feel free to bring a canopy! The celestial activity in the evening is phenomenal!

Generators allowed

Please face your generator away from the camper near you or any structure as it "reverberates" off of anything standing. If there is someone else staying the same evening, please be courteous. Firewood provided, firepit, private. YOU MUST bring your own fire extinguisher to have a fire pit at night. NO EXCEPTIONS. Wood $15.00 a bundle. NO WOOD brought from outside onto our property please. We provide. You may pay through Venmo: @kmcastranova last four 1872

Pets allowed

On leash. On immediate property, pets must be kept on leash at all times. No pets allowed in sites 7 and 8. Yes, there are places for your dogs to run off leash and we'll show you where those acres are! Pets in sites 1-5 only.

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

The toilets (2) in barn are mostly for tent campers! The RV sites 1-5 are for self-contained vehicles; fifth wheels, Euros, Vans, travel trailers, class A’s and C’s, or motor homes only.

Trash bin. We have a 3 cubic foot dumpster if you need it.

There is a hot shower on demand in the barn called a Joolca. It's awesome. (Even though the barn has a dirt floor, we have it incased in a Joolca tent which has matt to stand on.:) Towels, shampoo, soaps are provided for $5.00 (reserve ahead) this is for shower only! Toilets also have fee of $5.00 but are mainly for tent campers! The money goes to laundry detergent, soap, plastic bags, TT, and propane.

Driveway is leveled and has gravel, sites are on pasture land, mowed and level. Sites are very large but if you want to set up a camp next to an RV there’s an extra charge of $30 to do this. (set up a tent for more people)

Finish early morning on the other side of the property that we own which is an offshoot of the Poudre River. Bring a canopy and chairs for this. Also, we do not supply any fishing equipment.

Early Check In/Late check out rental

Please pay the early check-in, as I have to takeoff work to greet you, you cannot check in any earlier than 2 o’clock. Normal check in time is four. 4 o’clock does not require a fee. Late check out until noon also requires the 25.00 fee as we will be changing our plans for the day. 25 does not cover both! $50 total for early check in and late check out. Regular check out is 10 a.m.

Spacious Camping

We stayed at the Redstone Ridge site on KM's land. The spots are large and private. A perfect spot to get away and relax. The hosts are fabulous. They are very welcoming and share a lot of history about the area. KM offers so many wonderful homemade goods, fresh eggs, jams, cinnamon rolls and much more. We hope to return again soon.

Third time staying here. It’s so peaceful and is just beautiful and serene. KM is an awesome hostess! Pro tip - go for the farm fresh eggs or buy some of her homemade jams and jellies if she has them. Yummy!!!

No obvious sites laid out but once the host guided us where to park we figured it out. No real level ground but the surrounding areas were very peaceful and it was really pretty looking out at the surrounding farms. Both the host were nice when we arrived and pointed out a few areas to use if needed.

We camped with our two pups and loved it! KM is a hospitable and friendly host. The toilet and shower set up is an A+ system. And be sure to try the artisan water. It is delicious! Plus, the views from the sites are awe-inspiring. I highly recommend.

Outstanding site with a wonderful open view of the surrounding land - great access to some local hikes/trails as well. KM is an amazing host and we felt right at home! Easy access for water with the spigot, and the shower/bathroom tents are a huge plus too! We will definitely be back =)

Its a beautiful location and the hosts, Kim and Al are great! We had the area all to ourselves as they had no other guests while we were there. We bought some firewood and chorizo they delivered for us. We were very conscientious regarding the rules as they were certainly reasonable and they seemed very flexible as long as people are responsible and respectful of their home and property. We filled up some water bottles for the road from the well and the water is delicious.

Relaxing it is!

Gorgeous open land on a working ranch. KM was a great hostess and everything was exactly what we expected. Easy to get into our spot and thoughtful touches like a water line close to our campsite, plenty of chairs and a table made our stay pleasant. There was also a fire pit and we loved the fresh eggs. We will definitely be back! ps - great 5G reception with AT&T onsite, and I think she even had Wi-Fi guest network that we didn’t use but also was available at our spot (#4). The only caution I have is there is no shade so just bring your own and you’ll have a wonderful time!!!

Gorgeous land and gracious host. We spent the day up at red feather lakes, but the land was beautiful. We wondered around with our dog on the open land and felt like we were the only humans for miles. Weather want great, but it was worth it! The host met us at its some fresh peaches and was very kind. She was responsive to texts and questions, but other than that, she totally left us alone.

Nice level ground and great tasting water! The horses in the field were friendly. Now you are on a field with no shade or wind protection, so be cautious of the weather! I bought steaks and sadly they were marinated and our food allergies reacted, so that was disappointing.

We greatly miss the quiet! Mountains were everywhere you looked on this beautiful ranch. KM and Al were lovely hosts who took us to our site and guided us through all the comings and goings of a working ranch. Midwestern city folks, we were not well versed in ranching life. KM was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We adapted quickly and eagerly await our return to the Fort Collins area. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

We came in with a group of 3 RVs and were booked into sites 1,2 &3. As everyone mentions the panoramic views were unbelievable! We were so lucky to watch a massive Thunderstorm over the ridge and to top it all off was the full rainbow to the East. After camping for many, many years we had the absolute best collection of cutest family pictures and hilarious videos. Karen and Al are the best!

You'll fall in love with the land!

Loved camping here, do yourself a favor and get the homegrown steak add on! We camped late July in the high heat and needed our generators during the day but once evening hit, the breeze came through our camper and it was downright chilly! Perfect way to camp. Our 2 year old fell in love with the land and the horses, will be back forsure! Thanks KM!

We really enjoyed tent camping on KM's land. The view was amazing and KM communicated directions and details extremely well. Campers should bring something for shade because there aren't many trees. Other campers were respectful and the horses kept us company when we went to use the toilets.

This was a great place. The hosts are super friendly. The location has amazing sunrise and sunset views. Red feather lakes (30 min away) was great too. The sites are spread out nicely. They are exposed (it is a prairie) so bring shade. The well water was outstanding, really glad they provided access to it! There is a toilet, it's a bit primitive (a bigger tent around it would be a plus) Yet completely usable Access to the hot shower was a huge plus,.
