OH MY GOSH! Where do I start..
the views were absolutely breath taking, the camp sites are spaced apart so you are not too close to anyone. Lots of places to walk and explore, we loved it. 10/10 would recommend and would return for sure!!! We camped at site #11 and I would choose that one every time if I could. I loved it so much, thank you Nicki for a great experience!!!! Roads are a little steep and bumpy but if you take it slow it’s no problem!!!

Campsite C was amazing! Definitely need AWD. My Buick enclave did fine in AWD. Calm and relaxing campsite with very few neighbors

Loved the rugged beauty of this campsite! 11 primitive sites tucked along the side of a mountain with plenty of tree cover and space to make one unaware of neighbors. We were able to camp with our Hiker Trailer but it took some doing to get it in and out of the campsite. The spectacular view was worth it!

You will not believe the 270° view from campsite #3! Gorgeous. It is something out of Fantasy Golf. Stakes require a hammer or just use one of the on-site bricks. Toilet a great convenience. Roads are dry. My AWD vehicle handled the roads & site. (No 4x4 requisite but must at least have AWD.)

Absolutely loved my stay at Prospector’s Rush. Amazing views and so much fun exploring the area with my dog. A few of the campsites were occupied but you still had plenty of privacy and some seclusion. (Would be fun for a group to book a few spots together).
Highly recommend! Quite the experience!

For a site that is such a short distance away from Idaho Springs, it feels very remote, quiet, and offers amazing views! We saw a moose on our way up, and enjoyed some snacks and wine at the picnic table near our site that looks out onto a beautiful mountain view. We would definitely camp here again!

Beautiful cliff side property with amazing views. Spot #7 was very steep, don’t think you could have more than 2 people at the campfire at a time. Bathroom was neat, had a great view while going! Road isn’t bad, my Crosstrek did great. Everyone was respectful so being able to see our neighbors wasn’t terrible. Highly recommend!

Awesome site away from everything and the beautiful views you can’t beat. I had no problem going up and down the spot they say you need a 4x4 I also have a truck so I have ground clearance I did see 3 more vehicles smaller then mine go up and down but I did run into a gal that left because she was nervous about it so take that for what it’s worth no one got stuck so just be confident and you will be fine🤘

We grabbed Site #4 just to make sure we had something for Labor Day weekend—it was the last one available, so our hopes weren’t sky-high. Still, it left a lot to be desired. The site is tiny and kind of wild—think downed trees, loose rocks, and uneven ground that makes setting up camp a bit of a challenge. It’s also right by the road and really close to other sites, so forget about privacy. The only flat-ish spot wasn’t even big enough for our 3-person tent, thanks to a steep hill and not one but two fire pits taking up space. With a little maintenance, it could be decent someday, but for now, I’d say skip this one if you have other options.
There are plenty of other beautiful sites on the property, why try to force a site like #4? I would do away with it completely and let the land rest.

Overall we did have a good time camping here.
The site is on a SERIOUS slant which made it difficult to utilize our equipment. Don’t bother bringing camp chairs here- they will just topple over, maybe with you in it. There is a spot cleared and leveled (the only level spot at this campsite) for the tent which was nice.
This campground didn’t boast the views that others do- there was a road and power lines that could be seen which took away from the “rustic” experience we were hoping for.
The site was also in very close proximity to others which made for a a very late night and early morning since the sound travels intensely from site to site- the folks on one side were up chatting and playing music until midnight and the other side was packing up camp at 6am. They also let their dogs off leash (please don’t be those people) which was an unpleasant surprise for us and our dog as they quickly wandered straight into our area.
There is no picnic table at this site. I guess there are two public tables for us campers to use but we only saw one. There is a wooden bench here that was helpful.
The host seemed generally uninterested in answering questions and responding to the “I’m here” request they ask for in their listing.
We did see a bear in the area and found a tick on our dog so be cautious of that.
All in all it was an okay experience. My son was satisfied with our camping trip here and in the end that’s all that matters.

Great site! Loved the remote-ness of it and how it wasn’t an overpopulated camping site. This was exactly the style of camping we were looking for!
We arrived in the dark and was a little hard to find the site originally. Look for the white trailer on the left as soon as you get on two brothers road.

Some good views, but the majority of the campsites are blocked by trees, cell phone towers, etc. The ground is VERY rocky, and very difficult to sleep on even with multiple mats. The road into the campsite is run down, not maintained, and extremely thin. We were the only group there that day, which I am very thankful for because I honestly have no idea how multiple cars would traverse it. Though this is not the owners fault necessarily, the way to get into the campsite is difficult to find as it is a thin backroad with no signage until you find out how to get there. It was isolated, good stars, a nice firepit and a good amount of firewood, and the bathroom was close enough that it was adequate for our needs. Overall not bad but our experience would have been better with another campsite.

Awesome stay with a great view from many of the different campsites. Fire rings, dedicated camping spots, restroom facilities, and access to Idaho Springs if needed. You’ll definitely want a car with AWD or 4-WD to make the hike up and down, but it’s worth it. It can get windy, so bring those good stakes.

This was a peaceful spot for a quick getaway! Campsite 1 was more secluded than the others, which is one reason we liked it so much. Some people complained about the toilet only having two walls, but I’d use the facilities there everyday if I could. The view is beautiful!

Gorgeous property, very quiet with a great view. My spot was clean and well-maintained, without a lot of hassle getting there. I was going by myself for some alone time and it was a great place to do it.
Hosts offered some really good information ahead of time about when to ignore your gps, and it ABSOLUTELY helped me get there. 10/10, great place. Definitely planning to camp here again.

Beautiful views. Stayed in campsite 3, which had plenty of room to stretch. If you have kids who will want to run around and play - not the best location for that as there are steep hills and through roads that aren’t the best for toddlers.

Campsite #3 is spectacular! It's going to be hard to top this location. Very remote with an absolutely amazing view! Just what we were looking for. We were the only ones in the camp in mid-April. Pretty chilly evening with plenty of wind but the view makes up for that.
