Jeff’s land is nestled near the stunning Eleven Mile Canyon, this campsite offers a serene escape with breathtaking mountain views. The fire pit was great, providing a cozy spot to unwind under the stars. Wildlife sightings were abundant, with lots of cows, a few deer and antelope, and a whole herd of bighorn sheep, that was definitely a highlight for us!
The exact sight was a bit difficult for us to find at first, but Jeff with very helpful in providing more direction via Hipcamp messaging. The ground was a bit hard, making setting up our tent a bit challenging. Driving the stakes in fully proved difficult, and when strong winds picked up, our tent unfortunately caved in. Despite this minor setback, the otherwise relaxing atmosphere and picturesque scenery made for a memorable experience.
With a bit of extra preparation for securing your tent, this campsite is a fantastic choice for nature lovers seeking a peaceful getaway.
