Shanay Cabin
This was such an incredible stay, even if it was just for one night. Cute primitive cabin with a surprisingly comfy bed. The bathhouse was very close. Many deer and wild turkeys were grazing for their dinner at the campsite. It was such an incredibly grounding experience. Also down the street from the swim beach! Hope to return in the future.

Sheyenne Cabin
We had a good time. It was rustic, but it's what we expected. Left the first day turned the corner and a momma black bear and 2 healthy looking cubs were in the road. They bolted before we could get our phones up.

Worth the stay
The whole RV park was nice and quiet. The host was super friendly during checking in. She explained where the bathrooms (flush toilet) were, where to park etc. the double bed was comfortable and the cabin clean. I would suggest bringing a small battery powered fan since the cabins don’t have electricity. The host had a couple of small battery powered lamps which was nice to have. I was able to get decent WiFi signal in the cabin. The front porch on the cabin was nice and has a small bench to sit on. But a camp chair would be more comfortable.
The restaurant next door is pretty good and worth a visit if you don’t want cook.
