Amazing views at this spot! Quiet and secluded as described. Star gazing was incredible. There are quite a bit of cacti so have booties and perimeter set up for dogs if possible. Would recommend if you're interested in secluded off grid spot.

If you like privacy and beautiful views, book now! I spent 2 amazing nights at this spot. Very large and level. Basically situate your rig to maximize the view or cut the wind. You choose. Felt super safe as a solo female traveler here. Great host directions and communication. Never saw another human, which is ALWAYS my goal. Mt Blanca is magnificent and that’s the only thing I cared about seeing, but the antelope were a great addition! Very relaxing. I didn’t even use my generator bc the weather was fair and the wind was always blowing. Easy easy boondock site!

The land was absolutely gorgeous! It did get a bit windy but even tent camping we were fine. Our pup loved getting to explore outside but make sure they have boots if going much further than the pad as there are cacti. The sky when it gets dark is absolutely incredible, we were blessed with 3 clear nights full of stars.

The camp sight was beautiful, great view of the mountain and an unreal sunset! J communicated about where the spot was and it was so easy to find! The plains can be windy so just come prepared for some of that.

We loved the campsite, the written directions from the host are important to follow as google/apple maps weren't the lost accurate. Great views of Blanca peak, close to the sand dunes and lots of wide open space!
