We had a great time tent camping at this sight, the view was beautiful and there was plenty of land to explore. The other camp sights were also far away enough to not notice them. And their dog dingo was very friendly!

Beautiful spot with plenty of good hiking, views, and quiet, peaceful nights in nature. My dog and I really enjoyed it. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, too, including Dingo Dog. I wish I had packed a little lighter, as the path back out to the car is pretty steep, especially when doing it 3x due to the amount of gear I brought for a solo trip, but that’s my fault. All in all, a great experience. Thanks!

We loved van camping on Chris' land! It was beautiful and serene! Great views! Beautiful hiking in the neighboring forest! We loved seeing his goats, chickens, dog, and children wander the property as well as the native deer and little grey mountain squirrels! We definitely plan to come again!

Special place minus the rooster

Overall, this was a special place for kids to explore and play, You really do feel like welcome guests with such accommodating hosts. But for light-sleepers, I wouldn’t recommend this site. The rooster starts his regular crowing sessions from 4:30-6am, an unwelcome time slot if you’re not a pre-dawn riser.

Great spot close to Denver. Site is visible from the host's home, but if you walk 2 minutes into the forest down the trail, there are amazing tent spots out of view. You feel like you're alone in a mountain forest.

Fantastic spot! My daughter and I camped here and had an absolute blast. The site is close enough to where you park that it’s not hard to get your gear in, but far enough from the houses on the property to give you the feeling of being out in the woods. Beautiful views from the site itself. Bring weighs for your tent rather than stakes. We were visited by a deer, and a grey fox right at the campsite, and saw tons of other critters exploring the property. Perfect for a short trip and small group! Highly recommended!!

We loved our weekend at Chris’s campsite! He was really friendly at check-in but left us alone to have our privacy for the weekend. The property is gorgeous with lots of places to explore, but the goats and chickens were my favorite. Would definitely come back here again!!

The land was beautiful and we loved having the option to go deeper into the woods for camping or just walking around. The road up is worth the twists and turns - we enjoyed the views and wildlife. Nice area, and Chris was super helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful views! We really enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was having to drive all the way to Safeway to use the restroom but we knew that ahead of time.

This was a very enjoyable experience. Chris was very flexible with times to arrive. The campsite itself was great! Lots of space and places to walk around. Very convenient location if you need to run into town as well. WiFi worked amazing.

Perfect Getaway!

This spot is just epic! Private, beautiful, and serene! Close enough to town to run out for coffee or a bite and the land is just beautiful. Looking for a quick getaway from Denver, this is the spot! So much exploring just on the property - take the chance on the short hike-to site. Perfect hammocking trees and boulder beds to hang around in. Dogs and teen loved it!

We enjoyed our time camping. At night stars were visible and you also get a view of the city. We are grateful to use the bathroom inside of the house and get unlimited water from the spigot.

Great site for tent camping. My boys and I enjoyed the location which had plenty of privacy and included areas to explore. Chris was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We would recommend.

We camped here as a family of 4 with two boys (3 & 5). Our spot was a short distance from the car with beautiful views. We enjoyed exploring the woods, and there were swings the boys could have fun on too. Safeway and natural grocers are only a 10 minute drive away in case you forget anything. :-). We would love to stay here again!
