Excellent Hipcamp!
Jenna’s property was just what we were looking for. It was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We loved the privacy of the site location. I would highly recommend this hipcamp to anyone looking for a private and relaxing site. Jenna and her mom were excellent hosts, and Jenna was excellent in communicating information to us. We were extremely pleased with the experience.

Highly recommend & would stay again! Enjoyed the quiet, flexibility & privacy that came with ranch life here. Creek was cool/clear in late June & home to healthy schools of minnows & crawfish, which are fun to watch. Saw deer & all types of birds (even an owl!) from my site every day. Outhouse is new, clean & has a deep trench so you’re smelling wood v. the alternative. Strong AT&T LTE cell/hotspot signal. My dog loved running around off leash here but do beware, especially in the back pasture across the creek — we ran too closely into a rattlesnake & then promptly ran away to safety!

This is such beautiful land for camping! We were in the shade next to the river. Plenty of space and privacy. The birdwatching was off the hook: an owl in camp; fly-bys from a Blue Heron and another large water bird; and golden and bald eagles nesting across the field, to name a few. The outhouse was meticulous. Jenna was a great host. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Peaceful and Private
This is a beautiful place to camp! Surrounding hills, mountain views, shade trees, lush land, a winding creek... what more could you ask for? Very private and quiet. The weather wasn't great for traveling, so we didn't think twice about extending our stay. Jenna was there to meet us and was super nice. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

North Colorado ranch
These nice folks have a cattle ranch in Northwest Colorzdo. I had my choice of camping by a large pond, in an open pasture, under cottonwood trees or by a steam that meanders through the property. I chose the pond, Great location if you're in the neighborhood.

This Hipcamp site is way overpriced at $70.00/nite. I reserved it one day before because a snowstorm was coming in and we were in a bind for having a place to stay. While the communication with Jenna was very good, when we arrived her mother Debbie was waiting to greet us and we were taken over an extremely muddy road that was touch-and-go for our 4x4 pulling a 12' trailer. She brought us to a place under trees by a creek, which felt nice, but there were big badger holes and fresh cow pies and mud because of the storm. The website said there would be a toilet, but there was no mention of this. We were worried about getting out the next morning, but Debbie pointed out a different route for us to take, and we drove out without a problem. I wouldn't suggest bringing any kind of an RV in if there is a storm. We had an anxious night and felt taken advantage of with the cost.

We had the whole place to ourselves. Saw cranes, antelope, deer and something that looked like a groundhog. Jenna was a great host… drove us down to our spot and gave us some advice about the area and always texted me back quickly. I’d stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful!
Jenna’s campsite is absolutely amazing! Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. The host was so welcoming and kind, and showed us the best place to park, where we had a beautiful view of horses and nature.

Secluded high mountain ranch
We had a great night at Mountain View Camping on our way from Denver to Dinosaur National Monument. The location was secluded and beautiful. We saw cranes and deer (along with the typical ranch animals - goats, cows, and horses). Jenna was friendly and flexible with our late arrival. Overall a highly recommended experience!

Peaceful, pretty and private
Jenna’s place was quiet and private, with beautiful surroundings. She was proactive in her communication. Very flexible! The town of Craig (nearby) had a cool bookstore/cafe where I cools do some work. Steamboat Springs is fairly close with great outdoor activities (skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, etc) and shopping.

Serene camping, supreme convenience
Jenna's Mountain View Camping experience was really great. You get spectacular views of the Milky Way at night, there's a creek right behind the campground areas for kids to splash around and stay cool. Best of all is that it's not far from any supplies you need in Craig, but you're still far enough out that it's quiet and serene.
