Only 5 minutes to the San Juan National Forest by car ATV/OHV, snowmobile, or mountain bike. This is the ideal location for someone wanting to experience the best of what Southwest Colorado has to offer! Durango is located only 35 minutes away, with tons of visitor-friendly attractions!

Absolutely beautiful spot, close to so many good hiking places! Hosts are wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating. We had such a great time there, and definitely will stay again when we're in the area!

Beautiful area near beautiful lake
What a wonderfully beautiful place to camp. We were close to a couple of restaurants and a store. The location is minutes from vallecito Lake. We took beautiful bike rides around a portion of the lake on the east side. Beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. Rudy was the perfect host. Very polite, helpful. He even helped me fix a Plumbing Leak. And the big treat was Tucker,Rudy's two-year-old Golden Retriever. He might try to steal your sandwich but he's too cute to get mad at.

Rudi and Shannon were great hosts! And the camp site was perfect for us. Rudi was super helpful with providing ATV trails and other activities in the area, which we really appreciated! We will definitely come back :)

My wife and I could not have expected a better camp site to put our 22 ft Intech RV and it exceeded all expectations. The hosts were attentive and friendly and the location amazing. We will definitely be back!

Very calm, peaceful, and beautiful camp spots. We rented both spots for family camping trip and had room to accommodate everyone. Rudi and Shannon were very helpful and understanding when problems arose. Would definitely recommend.
