Amazing Flat Gravel Pad
Stunning spot for truck camper/van
We loved this spot! You have incredible views of the red-stone cliffs and we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the Crystal River. While the main road is not too far away, we heard zero traffic during the night and had a superb night of sleep. It’s about a 1.5-mile walk (3 miles round trip) to Main Street. We enjoyed strolling into town for dinner at dusk and then walking back and admiring the stars (we’re walkers and had headlamps). The spot itself is perfectly level and we had no problem accessing it. Would be ideal for a van as well. The hosts are super friendly and communicative. This will likely be our go-to for a night when we’re in this neck of the woods!
