We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house and this cottage is now available to rent. Water is available outside and the outhouse is just a few steps away. It comes equipped with a woodturning stove you can use to cook on. We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin built under the canopy of Jim's sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room! Numerous tent sites are available all within easy walking to your car. An outhouse is close by. We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp; and relax. Watch and listen to the birds, deer and antelope really do play here two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully just this morning. We are blessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !

There are a number of actual spots you can pitch your tent. Only Site one has immediate access to your car and is closest to the outhouse. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing with incredible views of the Front Range including, Pikes Peak, Long Peak and Mt Evans! Alpaca's will greet you in the morning, it's a close walk to a rope swing and a great trails around the property for your hiking or walking pleasure. FIRST RULE ON A FARM: If a gate is closed, close it after you go through it. If it is open leave it open.

Welcome to the Prairies of Colorado.  Beautiful wide open spaces with beautiful views of the front range including Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans just a short walk away!  Enjoy the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, birds nesting and calling, deer and antelope playing and the gentle lowing of cattle on the adjoining ranch.  Our alpaca's roam freely and may come to serenade you as well (though that would be during the day), they are hummers and they love company!  Small RV's (up to 12ft?), tear drop trailers can be accommodated here.

A short distance from the camping sites amongst some bigger Ponderosa Pines! With sweeping views of the rolling plains of Colorado. We overlook a very large ranch that often has cattle grazing and Pikes Peak is visible on a clear day. The music of the wind in the trees and birds singing will relax and bless you. This Tree House boasts a new queen sized bed, a tiny woodturning stove, beautiful built in table with an incredible view and workspace for putting a simple meal together. A 2 burner CampChef propane stove is outside on the deck. Two additional people can be accommodated under the tree house in your sleeping bags, cots or string up a hammock! The out house is a few feet away from the front door and features wood siding from a historical farm on the Platte River! Parking will be across the draw a few hundred feet away.

Perfect for me.
Bijou Valley Tree House
I found the tree house to be a perfect getaway from the city. Very peaceful. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The hosts were super nice. As everyone was headed west for Labor Day I thought I’d go In the other direction for some peace. Glad I did. Saw plenty of alpacas too. The photos are accurate which I appreciate. Try it!

Harmony Ridge Farm is such a lovely and peaceful spot to camp! The Keens are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. When I arrived, I was welcomed with a delightful bag of homemade cinnamon rolls—so yummy! And I can't forget to mention the adorable alpacas; they're just the sweetest! 🦙✨

Harmony Ridge is way off the beaten path, so if you’re looking for remote, you found it! It’s a beautiful location and the hosts are very nice and really interesting people. It is primitive, with an outhouse and potable on site . I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, except for dogs barking in the middle of night.

The treehouse was amazing! Beautiful area with a window overlooking such a beautiful landscape. The alpacas and dogs were so friendly. Overall just an amazing experience. Would highly recommend staying here!

Roann and Jim were so sweet!! I brought my family out to the farm for my wife’s birthday and they couldn’t be more welcoming. Both cabins were great and the alpacas were the icing on the cake!! We’ll definitely be back!!

We loved our time at the farm! The alpacas were very friendly - we all got some alpaca kisses and they were such a big hit with my son. Jim and Roann were wonderful hosts - it rained quite heavily and they were always checking on us to make sure we were safe and dry. We also got to visit their farm store and bought some handmade goodies, including a book by Jim! This was our first camping trip since we moved to CO about couple months ago and it couldn’t have been better. Our son already said that we need to come back and I am very sure we will! Thank you Jim and Roann for sharing your farm with us! We will be back 😊

We had an amazing time here, enjoying the peace and quiet, shooting stars, and the sweet alpacas company! Roann was very communicative and welcoming! We got farm fresh eggs, soaked up the sun, and had no complaints!

Our stay here was excellent and Roann & Jim were incredibly gracious hosts! They gave us a helpful welcome bag of water and snacks and even offered us a piece of fruit from their garden! Delicious! The air in the campsite was great, water hose was close by, the road driving into the property was well maintained and the alpacas were a funny bunch! The views were awesome too

Jim and Roann were so welcoming and kind. We enjoyed visiting with the alpacas and their farm store and even picked up some eggs on our way out. I forgot my tent stakes and they were kind enough to lend me some to use for the night. Beautiful views, serene property, highly recommend.

Excellent! Peaceful property. Beautiful view of Pikes Peak and views across open property of sunset and sunrise. No electricity, so keep that in mind. There was a very clean wooden outhouse. Friendly and accommodating hosts. They brought us a gift bag of water and cookies. The alpacas are cute and friendly but they are not in your way of you prefer not having animals around. Note: the property is NOT the big white house your GPS might have told you- their property is the next driveway. If you have time, the hosts are accomplished artists and have a small store you can browse. I purchased a felted alpaca ornament. Cute.

My family and I loved our experience! The alpacas greeted us right as we were waking up and they were fun to interact with. The views were amazing and the hosts were very friendly, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about visiting. We did the camping/RV experience but they have a couple other options as well.

Roann and Jim were incredibly welcoming! The land was gorgeous, and because I was the only camper on the property, Roann invited me to use the nearby cabin to have a break from spending time in my car. The alpacas didn't come visit me, so Roann gave me a tour and called them over for me to meet them. The whole experience was utterly charming. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Roann and Jim were so friendly and inviting! We shopped their on-farm store and got a handmade alpaca scarf and alpaca fiber. The view was incredible with Pikes Peak, RMNF, and other features on the horizon. We took in the sunset. Night sky was great. We saw the Milky Way. It was the quietest camping on our trip. We could really hear the birds.

Super friendly hosts and beautiful property! We stayed overnight on a road trip west. The hosts were very communicative and responsive during our travel, and met us onsite to help navigate the property once we arrived after dark. I was driving a long truck and trailer, and there was still plenty of space for us. Beautiful views, 10/10. Alpacas are a bonus!

I tent camped on Ronan’s land, and it was incredibly peaceful. The scenery was beautiful!! Ronan was also very nice and communicative. If I find myself in that area again I would definitely stay there again!

This was such a great experience for our family! Loved the property and the view. And the alpacas were fun to see! The only downside was driving down to the campsite area was a little rough. Jim & Roann said that due to the large amount of rain 🌧 they have had since May, it has washed out the driveway. We set up our tent under the pine trees by tent site 1 and it was great! This was a good first camping experience for 3 out of our 4 family members! Also, a trip into town is only about 20 minutes, which has a couple of nice little restaurants!

Lovely, relaxing experience. The treehouse was very unique, and Roann is a very thoughtful and friendly host. We’ll definitely visit again. Just watch out for cacti and bring bug spray. Not a complaint, just a heads up.
