A loo with a view
I stayed here for one night on my way from Kansas to the Denver area. What a treat! The campsite is quiet and the outhouse is very clean. I was greeted upon arrival by a super friendly kitty. Roann made me feel very welcome and showed me all the beautiful things she and her husband make. Definitely recommend this place.

Great quick get away from Denver!
Great communication, easy to find, had an amazing kitten that kept us company in the evenings and then leave you alone, amazing amazing views. Would stay here again! It would get a little crowded if all three spots were booked out but we were the only ones and we couldn’t of had a better experience! Compost toilet was great! Definitely check out her store. Site was very closer to the Paint Mine. Thank you for the great weekend!

A Taste of Homestead Heaven…
What a beautiful space to land for a break from the 70! I was greeted by Alpacas and soon after the owner of the homestead, Roann. I have a conversion minivan so I pulled into the field, crawled into bed and watched the most brilliant sunset EVER; which is saying something. Following the sunset, there was a storm on the horizon which provided a beautiful light show till the wee hours. So peaceful to roam the gardens and property after traveling. It’s a perfect way to ground.

LOVED this space!!! Gorgeous views, level spaces for overlanding in our Jeep, alpacas greet us in the morning and the hosts are absolutely precious!! Roann even makes items from the alpacas.

Site 3 - Pikes Peak View
Although it was a short night, I loved spending the night on Roann’s land. The Alpacas were really chill and it was fun to watch them play. We were the only ones there that night so there were no issues with other people. Directions were pretty straight forward and Roann’s husband directed us on where to go once we checked in. We got to watch a beautiful sunset at campsite 3.

Site 3 - Tent Camping in the Pines
Amazing Experience
My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience camping here! I highly recommend camping here, even if it's a bit out of your way.
The campsite was clean and spacious, and had a sweeping view across the valley. All around are beautiful trees, clouds, and rolling hills. We felt rejuvenated after staying in such a beautiful, peaceful place.
The hosts Roann and Jim were gracious and very friendly. Roann offered to give us a tour of the place, which we gladly accepted. We enjoyed seeing their garden, chickens, alpacas, workshop, and cabin.
The alpacas were definitely the highlight of our stay! We met all the alpacas and got to pet the friendliest ones. When we packed up our tent in the morning, the alpacas came over to say goodbye.
Roann and Jim have a really cool workshop where they sell their artistic creations made from alpaca fur, woodworking, and photography. They are both exceedingly talented. We both picked up some souvenirs and gifts.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we pass through Colorado!

Camping with Alpacas !
There was a nice spot for us to set up our truck and camper and we were not to close to the other guest. Roann greeted us and made sure we were set for our stay and also gave us a lay of the land. We thoroughly enjoyed the Alpaca's! They came over in the morning to hang out which was sooo much fun and I highly recommend. We really had a great time!

Cozy Farm Stay!
Roann and her husband were great hosts! Their sweet little farm was a very cozy, safe, and comfortable stay. I was traveling cross country and Roann was very sweet to take me in last minute. We fed alpacas in the morning and I got to check out their sweet farm store. Roann and her husband are quite talented!! Would recommend to anyone and would love to come back!

The Cottage at Harmony Ridge Farm
All the charm and hospitality!
Wow, I only have great things to say about the farm and the cottage. Spending time up close with the alpacas was a blast. Our 6-year old couldn't get enough of them. Even better was meeting our kind and lovely hosts, Roann and her husband, Jim. They are both incredibly talented and interesting people. Roann is a fabric artist who offered us a needle felting class, which our 6-year old loved so much and made her own alpaca souvenir to bring home. Jim is a photographer whose beautiful landscape pictures grace the cottage walls. The landscape and views are stunning, and the cottage is comfortable and adorable. Roann has it stocked with extras perks you might need, including comfy linens and blankets, lanterns and flashlights for the night, and some tea and coffee. There's even a wood stove, along with a firewood supply, to stay toasty on cold nights like when we were there. Highly recommended!

A Dream Come True!
If you have the chance, BOOK THIS PLACE! There’s nothing like the warmth of a wood burning stove, or waking up to roosters crowing or alpacas stopping around the cottage. From welcome gifts to a tour of the farm, I honestly don’t think i could think of anything that could have made our stay any better!

The Cottage at Harmony Ridge Farm
Roann was the most incredible host! She brought us a care package of eggs, cookies, and grapes all local from the farm. She kept in contact and answered any questions we had. We also had no clue that the cot would be with the alpacas and it 110% made our stay.

This farm was amazing! The alpacas were friendly and adorable and Roann was so so nice! I was on the last 24 hours of my 2 week long camper van adventure and it was the perfect place (quiet, beautiful, friendly) to finish my trip. I'm just bummed I couldn't stay longer!

The Cottage at Harmony Ridge Farm
We had such a wonderful time at The Cottage at Harmony Ridge Farm! Roann was so welcoming and helped us get set up at the cottage right when we got there. We had a great time getting to know the sweet alpacas! We wanted to go somewhere to see the meteor shower and this was the perfect place. The land is beautiful and so peaceful. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Peaceful retreat for any occasion
Roann and Jim are incredible people who truly love the place they call home, and gladly welcome visitors to share the vast beauty that this property provides!!
We ran into a severe storm the night we were to get in, so we did not get to camp as planned, but Roann invited us to the farm the following morning to meet and visit with their family of alpacas. What a special treat this was for my kiddos who’d been afraid they missed their chance at this farm.
Roann showed us around, introduced us to all the alpacas and we even got to watch them frolic in the sprinkler hose!! My kiddos especially loved the little memento available at the farm store that we get to bring home, and the goodie bag of treats for us to share - but their favorite part was getting to hug the sweetest alpaca 💜 The drive in was gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. We genuinely loved our time here and wholly recommend this Hipcamp for anyone looking for a great, safe place to land!!

Where do I begin??? The scenery was beautiful. The campsite was isolated in pleasant , shaded area with a grove of pine trees. There is a fun rope swing and the hosts offered a tutorial on fleecing and carding the alpacas. The pit toilet was very clean and private. When we arrived, the hosts brought us a little welcome box with farm fresh eggs and cookies. The best part: we were greeted by a herd of curious, friendly alpacas in the morning. Would highly recommend this for tent camping. Can’t wait to come back to visit!!
